New Touch the Banner location
I was going to check out Touch the Banner today and noticed Magnus has launched his new website. Since the link has been posted on the side, I assume it's ok to post this and let people know Touch the Banner is now located at Touch-the-Banner.com .
Congratulations to Magnus on the launching of his new site.

Whatever he is paying you, I will double it to market for my new website: stuffonmycat.org

Ugh, I first read that as stuffingmycat.org

I specifically said there would be no pigeon holing.

Is this the site?

I assume that will continue. I didn't think there was any harm in helping the guy out a little. If it's inappropriate, I apologize and ask the mods to delete the thread.

The mods can do what they want, obviously, but I've seen many less relevant threads than this one. Even if they delete it, thanks!

a smart move. Everybody has varying opinions, but I tend to visit two sites to read about Michigan football, MgoBlog and Touch the Banner. I also used to read BurgeoningWolverineStar as well, altough the last update was in 2013.
Anyway, congrats to Thunder for the move, and I will miss the beautiful women from Touch the Banner (I assume that the move will also eliminate those, as it seems like a smart business choice)

that's pretty much the only reason I go to that site. Sure, there's some great info available, but most of it works its way over here eventually.

well, you guys can go to the chive.com and find about 75% of the same photos. Or pretty much anywhere else in the world. I did have a partciular affinity for it when the coeds were garbed in Michigan gear, however, c'est la vie

Mgoblog and TTB are my favorites too. I also like to visit http://mgofish.com/ he does a good job with recruiting. Another old favorite is http://www.mikedesimone.com/recruiting/recruiting.htm his recruiting outcomes really gives good insight into roster management.

Those are generally the same two websites I visit, too.

I like it, but one change I think would help would be making the headings and link text Michigan blue. The maize can be hard on the eyes on a white background.

That maize lettering on a white background has got to go.

Thanks for the feedback. I was already considering that, but I figured I would wait to see what others thought, too.

I wonder if all of the old content has yet to be transferred over. The most recent 2015 season countdown I saw posted on the new site was #63, or something close. The last one done on the old site was Deveon Smith at #21, but I can't find the newer listings.

Unfortunately, a lot of the old content was not tagged to post where I want it to post. I will have to go through and manually tag some of those old posts to appear. I probably won't do that for *all* of my posts, but the 2015 Countdown ones will probably get that treatment since they're pretty well trafficked and part of a series.

As one who never played the game other than the intramurals flag variety (and that other, international form of the game that's played on a pitch), I appreciate the information, guidance, instruction and commentary that you and the other experienced football coaches provide to MGoBloggers both on this site and your own.
THUNDERous Applause for you, sir.
