Does McClure project as a CB, or a possible FS?

Is the number 37 overall, 5 star, DE. When did he get switched over to DE, I thought he was a MLB prospect all the way?
January 18th, 2011 at 11:09 AM ^
Saw that too. No, he wasn't always a DE, I believe he just got changed from MLB to DE. Not sure what his best position would be. Doran Grant got downgraded from a 5* to a 4*.

Doran Grant had some struggles on the camp circuit.

It's about time he was switched. I doubt he's a MLB at the next level.

And in the baseless speculation department, is there a 1% chance Arnett becomes a possibility again?
His issue w/ UM was lack of pro offense, at the very least, we're moving to a hybrid Pro Offense next year...and having two 1,000 yard recievers this last year at SDSU can't hurt the pitch...
Dooley gave him an in-home visit yesterday, that might lead one to believe there may be a crack in the armor? Pretty please?

Not sure how accurate it is, I believe several people have said that DA was just messing with people (again).

This board may rip on Golden alot right now but...
What this class really needs is a drop of Hokey Oil that ends up lasting 8 days.

They got Thomas Rawls numbers wrong. For some reason it says 450 carries when really he only had 150.

Good catch nowayguy. I check too, and Thomas Rawls had 150 carries. Doesn't anyone pay attention to details these days?

Scout hired George O'Leary to compile the HS stats.

is a complete miss. I really hope Hoke can bring this dude in, because I believe (despite his size) he will make himself a Mike Martin of a linebacker. He has the toughness Hoke's looking for, has a good nose for the ball, and is explosive in penetrating the line of scrimmage. And to top it off the guy can actually tackle...imagine that. This guy will be a great land! I predict he starts by his sophomore year.

I think there is a very big chance that Jones stays committed to UM. He is going to be a big contributor for this team in the future. He just has the football mentality and physical presence that is much needed on our defense. Plus, he has always loved Michigan. I can't wait to see him in the maize and blue.

Article up on Rivals where Jones reaffirms his committment to UofM.

Thanks for the update!

Reminds me of Chris Graham. Or possibly a shorter Shawn Crable.

Scout doesn't like him very much, 3* and #31 DE. Rivals has him 4* and #4 DE
I know he was going to visit recently, then probably wasn't coming (I think this was the lost weekend after the RR fire), but are we out of it? As of 12/29, it was Penn State, UGA, and M
January 18th, 2011 at 12:49 PM ^
I believe Penn State leads us for this top DE.

Unless Hoke can wave a magic wand and pry him away from next yr's defending national champions, let's not talk anymore frost cause he's looking more like a long shot since they accepted his commitment

I'm late to the party but all I have to say is FUCK!
