I keep coming in hoping to find something... anything... to raise my spirits on this ugly, gray Michigan day.
I know we have the potential "hello" to Flowers around the corner, but for some reason I have a hard time getting excited about him. Maybe it's because Lucien looked like such a beast in comparion...
Tough times in Ann Arbor... But at least the women's water polo team kicks off the season this weekend!

Do we really care about star boosts/takeaways at this point? It will mean NOTHING once their careers actually begin.

Wait your telling me once a recruit steps on the field the star raitings mean nothing. I though for sure there must be some advantage to being considered a 5* by rivals. I thought it was called the Rivals effect and gave all 5*s +5 overall attributes.

Makes you wonder what would have been if RR had not been fired... Hart, Frost, Zettel. Easily top 15 class plus a new D-coordinator.

I may be wrong, but I don't think Hart - despite all his talk - was going to end up blue anyway, and didn't Zettel commit to PSU while RR was still technically here?

Well you have to think that all the uncertainty about RR's job security HAD to play a part in both of thee guys's decisions. And true, Zettel did announce while RR was still at the helm (Dec. 28) but it was after the OSU game when a lot of people where calling for his head.

Technically yeah Zettel commited while RR was still here, but the writing was on the wall RR was all but history and the questions at coach lead Zettel right to JoePa's lap.

I don't want to be douche bag but....this is exactly what we get for dumping Rich. If we kept Rich for all intents we would have had a top 10 if not top 5 class.

I'm not worried about our rb situation as much as 8 out of the 11 defensive spots plus "our stupid idiot kicker"! Not to mention our punting game looked like we were kicking a 20 lb cannon ball.......

The class would have looked quite different had Rodriguez been retained... two top-20 five stars would have gone a long way in turning this class around.

Frost, Zettel, Hart, Justice Hayes - 4 players in the top 100 and who knows who else we would have pulled out at the end. If Sammy Watkins got swung in our direction. This could have been the best class Rich pulled and now it just seems shattered. It seems so depressing that ... fuck it I don't need to rehash! Please Brady Hoke show us you are a miracle worker!!!
