I can't wait to see this renovation complete.  This is going to be a gem compared to what it was, according to the renditions I've seen.  I also can't wait to see windows in Yost.  Can you imagine walking by that place at night with it being all lit up?  Talking about a gem...   I'm too excited to sleep.

In case anybody missed it, there was a video update on the construction posted on mgoblue.com a couple of weeks ago. See this. It includes details on the construction schedule and on the various upgrades/additions.

elements with The Big House. Same color bricks, same color blue paint on the roof (I expect to see two giant block 'M's on there eventually to give it the same look/feel as the megatron scorebords). Haven't seen any arches in the renderings that would match that aspect of Michigan Stadium's concourse look but as long as the CC looks like it was cut from the same cloth I'm cool with it.

I know they're spending serious cash on a better museum in Schembechler Hall but looking at those aerial shots I'm envisioning some sort of "atrium" like Lambeau Field has, connecting the two structures, that could be used year-round as a hall of fame and mega M-Den. Off the top of my head I can't think of any football/basketball facilities that are both this close together AND aesthetically complementary. I'm nerding out, totally geeked.

If they will be covering the concrete 'bezel' around the building? I assume they will probably leave it alone, but it would look good covered in the same metal as the roof or even the blue that is found next door.

a ginormous improvement over the cramped, crowded area around the arena they have now.  Also, adding much more light will be a big improvement.  And I'd love to see them give the boot to the food vendor that's been serving that crap for 30 something years, and bring some actual good food in there.  It should be a much, much better fan experience when it's done.

Can't wait until its done. It's gonna be a huge recruitment tool and definitely draw in more fans (which has already happened). Its nice seeing the basketball program turn itself around. Now we just gotta go out and compete every year for the B1G title.
