The kid makes plays, but does he have elite speed for a linebacker? Not sure...we are competing with OSU. Urban recruits linebackers with elite speed. Look at the National Championship game....they had as much, or even more speed than Oregon...Michigan needs to recruit like Urban in order to keep up....then Harbaugh will coach them up

No. They bulldozed Oregon. On defense, yes they got quicker, but they stuffed the run game, which they never seemed to go away from. OSU still got burned quite a bit on pass coverage. No one thought Oregon had elite defense, but even then, they still recovered a few turnovers that they just didn't capitalize on. We have one of the deepest line backing corps in the B1G. The D-line is our issue at the edges. Harbaugh and Urban have completely different styles of offense and defense has not been our weak point these past four years.

FWIW, I don't see Reagan Williams being more than a fullback at the Michigan level. I'm not really concerned about his lack of speed as a linebacker.

Nobody has a reaction from him yet (AFAIK) because he's on his official visit to Stanford. I can't say whether there's a legitimate shot at this point or not. However, I do know that he was very excited about Michigan early in the process and very well could have committed if an offer came earlier. However, I think it became pretty apparent last spring/summer that Hoke and Co. were not going to offer, at least not until late in the process, so he went another way.
