Art Vanderlay of vanderlay industries.
Vandelay. No R.
Long highlight tape. His helmet has wings, but they aren't the right colors yet.

To give an offer by the end of the week then? Sorry, not really witty/funny anymore. Probably more true than I make it out to be, however.
This kid is a monster. He'd be a great pick up, but might be a tough pull from the west coast. He's from a really cool part of CA too, in between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe, in the mountains.
Yeah, but remember Al and most of the staff from San Diego have a history of recruiting in California.
He is from a very small town. I'm not sure, but I don't think they are pumping out D1 recruits. The staff might have a history of recruiting California, but I'm not sure how often they got up to Placer HS.

Agreed. They had history with Erik Magnuson because he was from a huge high school in SD County. Like you said, Placer is a small town, plus it's a major hike from SD so they probably didn't go up there much, especially since this kid may have not been on the radar by the time they left.
This is like if Arizona fans thought they had an in with a 2013 prospect from Iron Mountain because of RR's history in Michigan.
It is a number of DT's that look good playing the position, it's just that Vanderdoes it better!

It would be awesome to get this kid on campus.

Good Dutch name. He must fly.

I see a fuzzy image of a CFB blog commenting on a missed assignment by the man at hand: "Vanderdoes? More like Vanderdoesn't."
"It was open," Toussaint said. "I can't compare this hole to any other holes because I can't remember that but it was a huge hole."
The guy looks like a monster. He has a great pass rush and gets to the quarterback quick. I'm also wondering if he could possibly be used as an end, IMO he looks quick enough to be one and he's also huge as well. Hopefully we can land him.
I guess he runs a 4.8 or something close to that so he could possibly play end if he keeps his speed or add some bulk to play inside at the next level.

It's very rare that 285 lb. high schoolers play defensive end in college. He looks like a 3-tech to me.
definitely a member of the all-name team.
