Very much looking forward to the lacrosse game before the spring game.  Oh weather gods, please grant us an unusually warm day with no rain.

Oh, I forgot, this is Michigan.

I didn't know before this article that we were playing osu at the big house before the spring game on April 14th. I looked up the record for attendance for one game and it was 52,004. I think we can beat that in our first season.

So prior to the spring game/scrimmage there will be an actual official lacrosse game.

That must mean lines on the field that aren't usualy there (I'm fine with that).  That also might mean no alumni flag football game, but perhaps not.

I'm all for exposure to M sports and also all for attendance records.  Not a fan of the alternative lines that will be needed...but I can deal.

The record setter in '09 when Notre Dame beat the crap out of Ohio State in the 'Shoe.  Was right before their spring game and a great atmosphere.  Great way to get people who wouldn't usually turn up for a lacrosse game exposed to the sport.

I think with it being Michigan vs. Ohio State in the Big House it will be even better.  Hopefully they can start doing that rivalry matchup before the spring game each year alternating between the 'Shoe and the Big House.

last I heard from JP they were also attempting to schedule the first fall shrinkage in the big house against a relatively well known team. targeting the weekend of the Minnesota football game.
