New basketball uniforms?
Adidas came out with new basketball uniforms for Louisville featuring strange and unattractive (in my opinion) color blocking on the shorts. Seeing how Adidas likes to dress all its schools alike, I'm guessing that we might see something similar this season:

And there's a thread title that's not in the least bit misleading.
Mere speculation at best.

Michigan is wearing basketball uniforms that say "Louisville" on them? Not sure how I feel about this.

Wait...so if that's true, then we actually won the 2013 National Championship, right?
September 26th, 2014 at 9:53 AM ^
Correct. In the Michaville sense of winning the National Championship. Or is it shared? I'm confused.

Yeah, I was all over this one like Beilein on a sub. adidas did release a new template as scheduled.
BUT, Michigan will break the template and stick with the same uniforms they've had since 2012-13.
Here's the original thread where I found the new adidas template in their most recent catalog.
And the news that they will break the template. Basing that on the last uniform change. MDen said in their catalog that the uniforms changed and the new ones would be unveiled soon. In this year's catalog, they offer new jersey # options like #10 and #23.
I even emailed them and they said that the team is sticking to that design.
However, it is unclear if women's basketball will wear this..............thing
After a quick scan of the adidas catalog, it is unclear what in the hell those shorts are. Those must be a custom design or practice because the 2014-15 adidas school template is this:

Email is a great tool to use to get this info.
I'm sure a lot of them see my name on the email and think "oh no, not this lunatic again"

I would bet that they see your name on an email and think "we should mark everything up 10% immediately".

It looks like Adidas didn't have the clout to draw Christopher Polyblend, though.

Oh thank the lord. God please forbid changing uniforms and asking the players what they actually want their uniform to look like.

For some reason, I am having difficulty thinking of shorts more fitting for play in a place which is called the KFC Yum! Center. They definitely match the floor, if nothing else, although I am guessing that was probably not the specific aim. I do not get those shorts at all - reminds me a bit of the banded colors that a couple baseball teams sported about 30 years ago.

Those shorts look like swim trunks.

We were good in football with Nike. I blame Adidas, I really do.
September 26th, 2014 at 9:54 AM ^
Then you should blame adidas for Basketball's rise.

AND I'd give up Adidas, a good basketball, cross country, and gymnastics team, respectively, any day of the week to have an elite football program again. You could put the entire athletic department in Hollister for all I care if it leads to wins.

Michigan won zero NCAA Tournament games (officially) while wearing Nike uniforms. Made one tournament in 1998. Made zero if you count the sanctions.
