never want to see floyd again

I never want to see Michael Floyd again. Maybe he'll move to New Zealand. Before the season I debated who was the best sophomore receiver: Jones, Green or Brown. Now I've seen those three and Floyd and he is better than any of them. I hate to say it, but he is damn good. And we have to see him next year.

Tate and Floyd will both be Biletnikoff finalist with Dez Bryant from OSU. Those two are really good. I don't want to see him again either. **edit** That makes it even sweeter that we beat them!

Floyd was the best player on the field on Saturday. Forcier was excellent (I don't think that this can be overstressed) but Floyd was dominant and M had no answers for the match-up problems he presented.

That's a really interesting comparison. Floyd has looked amazing so far this year, but I think it's too early to tell. I'm not sure if he's quite as good as Braylon was yet, but I definitely think he will be in his junior and senior years if he stays that long.

Michael Floyd's stats through 12 career games: 59 catches 1,039 yards 11 touchdowns Braylon in 2004 (13 games): 97 catches 1,330 yards 15 touchdowns I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with what you said, just some stats for comparison's sake. Floyd is an absolute terror, that's for sure

I dont think hes better than Jones or Green. Put a quality receiver on the opposite side of these guys with a QB that can get them the ball, and I think they all come out to about even. I certainly think hes in the top tier of receivers with Jones, Green, and Bryant.

are amazing. There are 4 WRs who are a legitimate top 10 draft pick talent. With that being said, I think Floyd is probably 3rd/4th best out of all them with Julio Jones, AJ Green and DeAndre Brown. A very tough crowd for any WR to overtake them.

I think he will look better than those other players because he will have Clausen throwing to him and Tate on the other side, but he very well could be a better player than them. I think Floyd will go on to become an elite WR at the pro level after his Notre Dame career is over, which hopefully will be after his junior year.

Unfortunately, we're stuck having to face him again next season. But maybe Clausen will go pro after this year. I personally hope Clausen has a monster year.

I doubt very much that there will be any freshman corner anywhere in the country that will be able to cover Michael Floyd, let alone one that Michigan is going to just bring in. The guy is a total stud and future NFL player, and the likelihood of some kid who's currently a high school senior being able to cover him is vanishingly small.
