Need help on where to watch BG game in Minneapolis this weekend.

Submitted by hailhail97 on

Going to be in Minneapolis this weekend for a wedding and looking for a Michigan friendly bar for me and some friends to watch the game.  We are staying in the "Mill District" on the east side of town. Thanks.

The Geauxfurs don't play until 7:30 on Saturday night, so you're not going to have an issue with any bars in the area (the Twin Cities are not antagonistic toward Michigan, only Iowa or Wisconsin).

If you head down either to Seven Corners, or go right onto campus (Stub and Herbs's, The Library, Sally's), you shouldn't have a problem getting a barkeep to turn on the game.

EDIT: Or, yeah, go to the 508.

Mac's Industrial is a personal favorite.  It's technically across the river from the Mill area but it's a pleasant walk via the Stone Arch bridge and St. Anthony Main if the weather is nice.  It's a little grimy, but well lit, friendly, has good food and beer and some pretty awesome happy hour specials.  Plenty of high def TVs for whatever you want to watch.

In general you won't find a lot of passionate college football fans in Minneapolis, so wherever you go will probably be friendly.

u might wanna get Sunday NFL Ticket because Brandon's Eagles are playing in Jacksonville.

But on a side note, I'd like to know where to watch the BGSU-Michigan game in a bar somewhere near Minneapolis.
