Need advice on game drinking planning

Submitted by inshallah on

So it is now 2.35AM in India and the game kicks off at 5.30AM. I've been up from 8AM this morning and been out drinking a few rum & cokes... I'm fairly buzzing. My question is.. do I continue drinking till the game and during the game or do I stop now, sleep and wake up for the game?

The last UTL ( I was a few hours closer to EST) I continued drinking till about halftime, passed out and woke up with a minute to go. I would call that a success though I did wake up my neighbour at 6AM on a Sunday morning when Roundtree scored

I thought this was a troll post because I first read that you were in Indiana.

Now it makes sense that the game would start at 5:30AM.

If I were you, I would keep going.  I don't trust myself to wake up after heavy drinking.

on your age, but.....

1. Nap.
2. Wake up ~30 minutes prior to kickoff.
3. RALLY! (energy drink mixed in with booze)
4. Kickoff, transition to beer.
5. Halftime, food then back to rum and cokes for reminder of game.
6. Celebrate.

Are you drinking alone? If so, stop. No point in getting hammered by yourself hours before the game. Alone drinking should be kept to nightcaps and/or a brew or 3 during the game. If you are not drinking alone, don't stop drinking, you're more apt to fall asleep after just getting buzzed than if you keep going strong.

Since we're only about two and a half hours or so from kickoff at this point, If it were me, I would just keep drinking at a leisurely pace at this point and then as far into the game as you possibly can.

Bridesmaid's planning session 9 months before the wedding?

I am so glad that I got married at a time and place that didn't have bridesmaids...or 9 month engagements.

I love you with all my heart and would be honored if you would marry me.

Sure, when do you want to get married?

I have a great idea.  Let's wait 12 months!

Why wait?

Ummm...not sure.
