Nebraska Starting LT Leaves Team

Say the story on College Football Live earlier, but didn't see it posted here.

Starting Sophomore LT for Nebraska Tyler Moore is leaving the school for the fall semester and going back home to Florida. He's going to take classes at a local JC and then choose between transfering to Florida, FSU, or coming back to Nebraska.

...our first trip up to Minnesota might not be as easy as the old Metrodome days.  November can get pretty nasty up there, we'll be coming off a couple of tough games and you know the Gopher crowd will be as excited as ever for the first visit from the Wolverines.  Game could be a total trap & bite us in the ass.

“He is back home. He had some things he wasn’t happy about at Nebraska, and he’s going to come home to get his head straight,’’ Brian Moore said Monday.

Of course, it stings for Nebraska, but I don't think anyone could ever fault a kid for wanting to take a step back and reassessing his options if he so desires. From the sound of it, he wasn't happy, and I don't think he benefits from playing in that state, and indeed, Nebraska wouldn't benefit with him in that state.

Yes, but would you really want to give a scholarship back to a kid who has already left once (just before the start of the season I might add)?

It would be slightly different if he took off after spring ball and just stayed home but if I were the HC whats to say he doesnt get unhappy again and transfers? Now, he's cost me a shot at 2 replacements players.
