Is Nebraska "back"?

Submitted by toomer18 on

Seeing that the Cornuskers are again ranked in the top 10, I was just wondering if they are back and will be a top 10, top 20 program from now on.  What do guys think?  Are they automatically going to be in that top 4 of the Big Ten every year?  It's hard to believe that they lost possibly the best player in college football (Suh), and now are predicted to be even better.  It should be very interesting to see how it all plays out when they join us in 2011.

Leaving rankings aside for a moment, let's hope they're back. Because if they're back, and Alabama's back (this one's pretty much inarguable), we've got pretty two strong arguments for being optimistic about Michigan's fortunes in the next couple years.

No, Oklahoma was down last year and they lost to Iowa State.

Also, as a supporter of another Blue Blood program I refuse to believe they are back and I will not be accepting them as a big 10 member for as long as possible.

I'm not sold on Nebraska yet.  When you lose a dominant player like Suh, the defense will take a step back...their offense seems to suck too.  They're out of the train wreck era, but they aren't elite.
