ND Success

Personally I'm hoping ND has a decent year. Then they won't fire Charlie. Then they'll be forever mediocre. Go Blue!

Nevada isn't on the caliber that Western is supposed to be. I think that if GERG has a good game plan in place, we will beat ND by at least 10 points.

so don't sell them short. As for Western, they did have to replace several personnel, so the team isn't as strong this year as last. Clausen has been the QB at ND for what seems like a decade and finally appears to be 'getting it'. Offensively, they have talent at least as good as ours if not superior while defensively, it's the same story. I think if GERG has a good game plan it would be great to win by 10, I wouldn't consider it the bar of expectation

Would beat Western. I'd say 7 out of 10 times. Easily They're a much better. They shot themselves in the foot in the first half, or they could have gone in the lockerrom down 7-10, not 28. Both were impressive wins yetserday setting up perhaps the second most attractive game on next week's slate from a national perspective. But, Nevada was, and will be as the season bears out, a better opponent to beat. Otherwise, I like GERG and he will have his hands full trying to scheme against the passing attack we saw yesterday in SB. But, he will have much better football players and athletes to try and do that with, not to mention the home crowd, than Nevada.

Did anyone out there see the highlights of the ND game. There was one catch that had people talking where they scored form like 90 yards out or whatever it was. The receiver had to almost stop and turn around to catch it. Against a good defense that would have been an incomplete pass or a pick. IMHO Claussen got lucky on that one.

I must admit, having some nightmares about the ND receivers and our d-backs. I hope Robinson has some blitz packages ready to roll because we HAVE to get pressure on The Emu or we're going to run into some SERIOUS trouble. I don't think Dame's line or running game is that great but if we give them time to let those receivers get open, look out.
