ND Hate Week Thread
Everyone has their own special reason for hating Notre Dame, and rather than analyze the weather, matchups, or what Jim Rome said yesterday, I'd like to hear why Notre Dame has a special place in your heart. I'll start: Why do I hate Notre Dame? The Notre Dame Grotto is totally misleading. When I think of grotto, I think of this:

They consistently act like something other than they are. When they win, they think they do it with humility. When they lose, they think they do it with their chin up. Their fans/alumni on the whole are a general study in self delusion. They literally believe God is on their side, which is preposterous. I know for a fact that God hates Notre Dame University.

What gets me the most is the fact that the rules of the BCS are built to baby them. The fact that they get special privileges is utterly abhorrent to the ideal of fairness.

all around the country that root for them JUST because they've heard the name, "Notre Dame". So, like the sheep that they are, they go with the crowd and root for Notre Dame. " Oh wait... what's their mascot again? Who cares?! I'll root for Notre Dame in football and Duke in basketball just because I heard they're good and I liked the movie about that retarded kid making the team."

In the past the only good teams notre lame would play is us and usc. they would lose both of those games, cruise through purdue, air force, and navy, and get to go to the bcs

I was just watching the Auburn v Miss St. pregame on ESPN. I hate ND because Lou Holtz slammed Mark May for saying Michigan was back after one game, and then went on to say, "Make no mistake about it, Notre Dame is back." I think Lou needs to be fired because he makes absolutely no sense anymore and that lisp is so bad you can't hear anything he really says.
