NCAA Tournament - Trimming Down The Elite Eight - Saturday Edition
I'll start a thread for those paying attention to basketball as well as hockey - the advantage of having multiple devices / TVs / etc...
Anyhow, we're trimming down the Elite Eight beginning tonight, of course. Currently on CBS, Oklahoma is leading Oregon 59-44 with just under 15 minutes to go in the 2nd half. Later on, also on CBS, we'll have Villanova and Kansas in the other 1-2 battle.

I might be in the minority, but this game is underscoring the reason I always thought Oregon was the softest pick at #1 among the #1 seeds in this particular tournament. I just had this feeling - based on their play - that they would not make it to the Final Four and it seems now like they will not. That's fine, I picked this game on several brackets and had Oklahoma winning it.
Arizona won a title in 97, and of course, there was UCLA going on 40 years ago, but I wouldn't pick a PAC12 team to get to the Final Four any time soon. PAC12 hasn't been there since UCLA in 2008.

Does Nova recruit that well or are they all seniors?
Seems like Nova is perenially top 10 but just underperforms come tourney time since the days of Scottie Reynolds 6-7 years ago.
So why is it that the Nat'l Championship game is gonna be on TBS? Thats gotta piss some of you cord cutters off.

Hard to get pissed off when your coach has won the conference for 12 years straight even if he hasn't won a national title in 8 years.
