I sorta hope Oladipo somehow gets exposed as a bit overrated.
March 28th, 2013 at 10:13 PM ^
Oladipo looks silly trying to get the ball at the top of the key vs the zone.
March 28th, 2013 at 10:17 PM ^
has been offensive in a bad way....not complaining tho
March 28th, 2013 at 10:18 PM ^
Watford passing up open 3's? What bizarro world are we living in right now?

Man Indiana looks like they've never seen a zone. What have they been doing all week?
March 28th, 2013 at 10:21 PM ^
March 28th, 2013 at 10:22 PM ^
Does Tom Crean seriously not know how to coach against a zone?
March 28th, 2013 at 10:22 PM ^
has been playing like they're expecting to get beat the last few games
March 28th, 2013 at 10:23 PM ^
March 28th, 2013 at 10:23 PM ^
zeller is a bitch when he has someone big on him
March 28th, 2013 at 10:23 PM ^
damn this game is ugly
March 28th, 2013 at 10:24 PM ^
Crean is such a douche that I wouln't mind seeing IU lose, and from the looks of their difficulty in figuring out Syracuse's zone, it might just happen.
March 28th, 2013 at 10:24 PM ^
we didn't use a zone against these assholes?
March 28th, 2013 at 10:29 PM ^
You have to remember, Syracuse always plays a 2-3 zone. It's what they work on all year. They're going to be a lot better running it than a predominantly man team will be.
March 28th, 2013 at 10:25 PM ^
Syracuse is only up by 11 and IU has 11 or 12 TO's already? I'd figure they'd be up by at least 15.
March 28th, 2013 at 10:26 PM ^
Syracuse's 2-3 zone is not a typical zone. They extend their zone way out, so they pressure on the perimeter. You don't get many open threes with their zone.
They have to get Zeller in the middle of it and have him hit those free throw jumpers to soften up that zone. He looks overmatched when they try to post him up.
March 28th, 2013 at 10:27 PM ^
WTH are they doing? "Coach! It's like they're guarding a certain area instead of just a guy! What do we do?!"

leaning towards an all Big East Elite 8 in the East Region right now
March 28th, 2013 at 10:31 PM ^
as Jim Boeheim has never been known to run the 2-3 zone.
March 28th, 2013 at 10:31 PM ^
Well in fairness, it has only been a few decades.
March 28th, 2013 at 10:30 PM ^
Syracuse playing exactly how I expected them to in the Tourney...very well.
The Big East is a grind too and I think that was getting the best of them throughout the season. They're on point now.
March 28th, 2013 at 10:30 PM ^
I'd LOL so hard if MU got into the Fzinal Four and not IU
March 28th, 2013 at 10:32 PM ^
March 28th, 2013 at 10:33 PM ^
that douche Crean getting schooled by Boeheim
March 28th, 2013 at 10:34 PM ^
Well, this game has been awesome so far.
March 28th, 2013 at 10:35 PM ^
indiana looks horrible.. hope michigan is looking at this.. gotta come out strong
March 28th, 2013 at 10:36 PM ^
Joe Lunardi just proved his college hoops intelligence with this nuggent in the ESPN live chat: "Does anyone realize (I didn't) that a potential Cuse-Marq regional final is a Committee error?"
Teams from the same conference can play in the regional finals. That's the earliest they can play unless a conference sends more than eight teams to the tournament. UM-OSU in 1992 is a relevant example of that.
March 28th, 2013 at 11:03 PM ^
I think he's arguing that you shouldn't have a 3-4 from a conference in the same bracket when you have a 7-8 in another (ND - Pitt). He's saying that the top 4 highest seeded Big East teams should have each been located in separate regionals
March 28th, 2013 at 11:42 PM ^
Pitt came in next, followed by Syracuse. The logic makes sense, but even by using that, Syracuse falls out of the top 4. Confused. Joey Brackets needs to explain himself.

give a shit about the Lasalle v Wichita game?
March 28th, 2013 at 10:43 PM ^
March 28th, 2013 at 10:38 PM ^
so I'll just say yay, Hoosiers are sucking
March 28th, 2013 at 10:37 PM ^
Indiana looks like they watched the Marquette/Miami game, celebrated their inevitable easier road to the Final Four, and completely forgot that they're playing the second best team in the entire East region.
Oladipo has been struggling at the line but he's getting good looks. Nobody on Indiana can shoot right now.
March 28th, 2013 at 10:39 PM ^
So we should just always play a zone against indiana every time we play them because apparently nobody ever taught crean how to play against it.
March 28th, 2013 at 10:42 PM ^
Crean to Syracuse, "YOU'RE RUINING OUR PROGRAM!"
March 28th, 2013 at 10:49 PM ^
March 28th, 2013 at 10:51 PM ^
We briefly broke out the 1-3-1 in Bloomington. It backfired.
March 28th, 2013 at 10:40 PM ^
That above that rim camera turns the jersey from orange to red
March 28th, 2013 at 10:41 PM ^
How do you bang your head, bleed from your head, and not get forced to the lockerroom for evaluation? They must only be concerned about bloody jerseys.

then the terrorists win. Trey Burke is a true American
March 28th, 2013 at 10:58 PM ^
The subtle racism combined with the misspelling of Al-Qaeda and the dig on Indiana makes this a truly fine post.
