There are still plenty of games to watch tonight. I think the Providence/UNC game will be pretty good. Also, there is another 12 versus 5 seed and we all know those tend to be good ones every year for whatever reason.

In 1979 North Carolina was the 1-seed and Duke was the 2-seed, both in the East. The tournament back then had 40 teams, so seeds 1-6 got byes into the second round.

North Carolina lost in the second round to 9-seed Penn 72-71; Duke lost in the second round to 10-seed St. John's 80-78.

With only 16 of the 40 teams playing in the "first round" maybe it's fair to call those play-in games? Anyway, whatever you want to call the round that's the only time both Duke and UNC lost their first tournament game.

Have to call a timeout on the miss so that the clock isn't running when you inbound it. otherwise you're just dumb.

EDIT: Well, looks like you're dumb as fuck. Catch it and call a timeout right the fuck away. Jesus, how can one's basketball IQ be so low?

Holy shit.  Kentucky is going to start the game SHOOTING FREE THROWS!  Before the Tip-off.  Crazzzzyyyyyyy as hellllll.

Reserve dunked during warm-ups.  I've actually known about this rule.

Vcu only causes havoc for one or two five minute stretches per game. Other than that it's token pressure that results in easy baskets on the other side. Really not impressed.
