NCAA Inquiry Fully Underway/SI Article Release Open Thread

Reports emerging that the SI article will hit the internets around 7:30-8 pm tonight. Multiple threads with great comments/pictures are accumulating and are Welcome Reposts as we build towards The Story.
Further, Twitter is abuzz that the NCAA is well on its way of investigating OSU for violations (http://bit.ly/kpz4qA).
From what I've heard, the SI report involves the fact Tressel may have had direct knowledge that, specifically, Pryor was involved in car issues and chose not to escalate matter or look further (Youngstown much?). This is the source of the "Pryor is Done" stories, AFAIK, and may lead to an epic level of Lack of Institutional Control when paired with "I Hope He Doesn't Fire Me" comments. Still don't think it's going to be the Bomb that everyone's hoping for that connects all the dots - this might be left for the NCAA to complete. (Edit: 11Warriors post reflects same info as I mentioned).

If you are a fan of OSU football/basketball/hockey and Cleveland pro sports and are younger than 43, you've witnessed one national or professional championship in your lifetime: the 2002 OSU football title. If they vacate that (very doubtful, I know), that would be some delicious schadenfreude.
(BTW, we Michigan/Detroit fans have witnessed 12 such titles since 1984.)

I hope the article address EVERYTHING! If not, I worry that a bunch of the scandalous activities of the past decade will never be drudged up simply because the public will believe that the wrongs were righted with the Vest resigning. And for this very reason, he may have resigned now, to spare himself and OSU further embarrassment. I hope they keep digging and digging and digging until all the shit is unearthed....

"Everybody murders people..."? MGoBloggers have gotten serious mileage out of that (and rightly so).
It may not be stupidity. It may just be a way of telling the faithful just how much he loves them. If so, that would be the ultimate going away FU to the Buckeyes.
If I were them I would say it would be released "around 7:30-8 pm" too. Think about how many hits they have gotten already without posting their story! They are just looking to get as many people to their site as they can while building anticipation for their story.
