"Stanford @ Rice - 10:00pm on ESPN - Hurricane Harvey should have some effect on this game."
That must be one big hurricane. Game is in Australia.

Oh college football. I have missed thee
August 26th, 2017 at 10:58 AM ^
OSU vs. CSU seems the most interesting. Although, with S. Fla. being ranked preseason, it might be worth tuning in. Not a great slate but, hey, it's college football, baby!!!
August 26th, 2017 at 11:02 AM ^
Ya Im all over THE OSU game for sure
August 26th, 2017 at 12:21 PM ^
does seem that if they were going to do a week 0, that they could have scheduled one marginally good game. Like if it was Oregon State v. Colorado instead of Colorado St. it would be immeasurably more interesting.
August 26th, 2017 at 10:59 AM ^
Is in Sydney, Australia. Hurricane Harvey shouldn't be an issue.
August 26th, 2017 at 11:08 AM ^
It could be an issue for the team, they are 8,000 miles away why thier friends and family are in a hurricane. Might be a little hard to keep thier heads in the game and who could blame them.
August 26th, 2017 at 11:23 AM ^
Cumong man!
August 26th, 2017 at 1:40 PM ^
The fuck are you whining about? He has a valid point.
August 26th, 2017 at 11:01 AM ^
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOT
August 26th, 2017 at 11:08 AM ^
This is even better than I thought. I thought I was waiting for 2:30
August 26th, 2017 at 11:17 AM ^
Of all the games today, I think I'm most looking forward to seeing IMG/Chandler.
August 26th, 2017 at 11:25 AM ^
Yeah, the high school game is the best one on.
But next weekend, whoo boy. My family is going to hate me.
I may need another week just to rest up.
August 26th, 2017 at 5:09 PM ^
But it's a dry heat. Seems like the locals would have the advantage. We have a place in Chandler.
August 26th, 2017 at 11:21 AM ^
Go Beavers!
August 26th, 2017 at 12:11 PM ^
they had a Naked Gun marathon on Starz last night.
August 26th, 2017 at 11:27 AM ^
Not a great lineup, but it's football...
August 26th, 2017 at 1:35 PM ^
Yep. I'll take it.
August 26th, 2017 at 11:55 AM ^
I just heard Corso on Gameday say OSU has best coordinators in the conference... What a joke. Don Brown by far the best D coordinator in conference.
August 26th, 2017 at 12:25 PM ^
would not pay a whole lot of attention to what Corso says. I know he wants to go out on his own terms but somebody should have "the conversation" with him at this point. You can tell that the situation is making that whole crew uncomfortable right now. He has had a good run but it is well past time now.
August 26th, 2017 at 12:28 PM ^
Yeah, I was trying to watch gameday earlier and it was tough to watch Corso struggle so much. It's time, Lee
August 26th, 2017 at 12:50 PM ^
He made all sorts of bold, nonsense predictions and no one on set really wanted to say anything to him. He's losing it a bit.
Keep him for the headset picks, but he shouldn't be a talking head anymore
August 26th, 2017 at 12:57 PM ^
I've never heard Corso say anything interesting or insightful. There's not a signficant difference between young Corso and old Corso. He's there because he's a funny, personable guy.
Really, most of what's called "analysis" on Gameday is pretty useless. Herbstreit and Fowler seem like OK guys, but they really don't enhance my viewing experience.
I can understand the entertainment value of the show. The signs and the crowd are cool, and though the shtick ran its course a long time ago, Corso's mascot call is still pretty funny.
August 26th, 2017 at 1:26 PM ^
you watch it today? He has deteriorated significantly since last year. They are doing him a disservice by keeping him in that position.
August 26th, 2017 at 2:07 PM ^
I didn't see it. Can you even understand him now? He was incoherent much of last year.
August 26th, 2017 at 2:30 PM ^
really can't even follow the conversation. The other guys spend much of the time propping him up. It is not fair to any of them, Corso included.
August 26th, 2017 at 12:14 PM ^
Gives Michigan some love - says don't sleep on Michigan; they have recruited well the past two years.
August 26th, 2017 at 12:30 PM ^
I love me some college football but I'll probably watch parts of Oregon State/Colorado State and not much else.
Last year's opening weekend was about the same in terms of quality games but watching Cal/Hawaii had the extra added interest because it involved an opponent we would be playing the following week. This...is a whole lot of blah.
August 26th, 2017 at 1:08 PM ^
At 6:00 today on something called Eleven Sports.
August 26th, 2017 at 1:59 PM ^
This could be one of the more interesting (competitive) matchups of the day (or else osu v csu). On a related note, I purchased a new phone a few months ago and one of the preinstalled apps was something called "go90". I had never used it before and was going to remove it this morning - turns out it streams certain non-major sporting events for free. Among European women's field hockey and some kind of motorsport, it will show the HI-UMass game today.
August 26th, 2017 at 1:47 PM ^
The Texas Southern QB totally reminds me of a much less talented Denard. Not just his hair, all his mannerisms are similar, even the way he tugs his face mask down. Brings back some good memories. He doesn't seem to have that electric smile though.
August 26th, 2017 at 4:03 PM ^
is the CU-CSU rivalry like UM-MSU to the natives? Also, I don't care for the funky turf shading, but the midfield logo is pretty cool.
August 26th, 2017 at 4:41 PM ^
It's a good fun rivalry, but nowhere near the same level of hatred you get with UM-MSU. In general Coloradans only show that kind of passion for the Broncos. When the Raiders come to town things get crazy.
August 26th, 2017 at 6:48 PM ^
I wasted the day at the beach.
August 26th, 2017 at 8:15 PM ^
Strong with a rough first quarter at USF.
