We may never watch a more talented athlete and better human being headlining UM Football in this lifetime, unless he has a talented son and he goes to UM (crosses fingers). It's been a great ride watching him these past 4 seasons. Hopefully his NFL career will be as electrifying as his college career was! Hail Denard!

Not only is the cover rather good, but the game is due on store shelves on my birthday too. I will have to let my wife know that I will forego the normal practical birthday gifts and opt for this.

While thrilled that he's on the cover I must confess I'm a bit dissapointed in the artist's rendering of Denard.  I saw a lot of different facial expressions from #16 over the past four years (mostly smiling) but pensive, angry Denard was NOT one of them I remember seeing too often.

Michigan now has 4 covers.

A player on every generation of the game.

College Football USA '96 (Genesis)- Walter Smith

NCAA Football 99 (Playstation)- Charles Woodson

NCAA Football 06 (Playstation 2)- Desmond Howard

NCAA Football 14 (Playstation) 3- Denard Robinson

When I see Michigan players on the cover of NCAA games it makes me feel like they are fake. It's like seeing your cousin on a photoshopped cover

Don't they normally run a pre-order deal where you can get the game like $40 or so? Any ideas when/if they'll be doing that for this edition?

But is that photo staged (vs. a real, live action photo)?

Are the cover photos normally staged?  This year will be the first time I've ever bought that game (Madden is sufficient for me), so maybe they never use actual photos.  But his eyes seem to calm, Denard was much more intense when running in the open field.

But I love the Big House background, and it's great to have him on the cover.  Hopefully he sets up an autograph session shortly after the draft.

There are two different covers floating around right now. Did anybody else notice that? Everything is the same, except the miaze and blue fade behind Denard and in front of the big house.

Here is the one that I have been seeing, which I think I actually like a bit more because it looks more like the color is streaking off of his uniform, rather than just a generic swoop.

Why are people posting about Denard's facial expression and not liking the picture? He is a football player, folks..not a model. Don't be weird. It's simply badass that he is on the cover.

Just a note to all those saying "there Are so many pics of denard etc.," EA conducts their own photoshoot for each NCAA cover. If you youtube "ncaa cover shoot" you will see tebow's and rg3's shoots.

Pretty sure the reason they didn't use other pics (say away at notre dame heisman pose) is that EA couldn't use those images without paying the copyright owner a handsome fee. That is why they conduct their own photoshoot - to free themselves from paying those copyright fees/royalties.

Denard looks aggressive on the cover because that is how EA or Denard WANTED him to look ( the image was taken knowing it was a cover picture.)

Hopefully that clarifies things.
