NCAA Football 12 (round 2 of screen shots)

Submitted by Philbert on

Well I seem to be the only one around these parts that gets this into NCAA football this early but earlier today the second round of screen shots came out and guess who the featured team was? Our boys in winged helmets. This made me very happy and they even added the lights on top of the Big House so rejoice all you "this isn't exactly how the Big House looks" fans.  Look closely on the jerseys, Michigan has the rose bowl patch, glad they brought those back. Hopefully they can put those on in real life. I'm very excited and can't wait for this game to be released but until then I'm stuck with Tiger and MLB 2k11.  (360 so don't rub it in all you MLB the show guys)

You are definitely not the only one. I start lookin at screens/news for the upcoming NCAA game in March. lol. The game looks good, but Im hoping they implement some actual realistic game play features. Maybe some actual referees and some sideline emotion would be nice too. Dont get me started, I'll be here all day. haha. And ya, you need a ps3. Mlb the Show might be the best game ever. Sell your xbox immediately. lol

The principle reason I am going to purchase this game is to witness Denard's magnificent dreads as he speeds past the opposing defense. Is that wrong?

They have had the bowl games in there for a while now. Just play in the stadium of the bowl game. I played the Gator Bowl several times before it happened this year just for fun. Too bad the real score didn't reflect my game scores.

Wow, being a PC guy I must say that the graphics look almost terrible compared to whats coming out on PC nowadays.  I wish they would release a PC version of this, then if Michigan could get back to 10 win seasons frequently and maybe a MNC, life would be almost perfect.

Elitist?  I don't recall saying anything other than the graphics look pretty bad compared to modern PC games.  It wasn't about saying PC or console was better, simply making an obserservation while implying my preference for playing games.  I happen to like consoles just fine, I just prefer PC.

Nice.

I still have NCAA Football 2004 for X-Box where the visiting team at the big house just magically appears from the north end zone.  It's sure come a long way.

Does the team touch the banner?

This is nitpicky as hell but I hate the low socks that come standard on the players unless you manually change to mid (like I do).  The low socks are high school-ish and nobody in major college football wears them that low -- always mid or high.

The graphics look great. I'm assuming they'll have implemented the pro-style offense again, but who will keep more of the spread in the playbook, EA or Borges?

[EDIT: *Intended to be in response to the comment re: Rose Bowl patches on the jerseys in-game]

video games is 34. For the record I am only 22, but your statement is completely ignorant and not in line with the actual demographics. I don't see how anybody can claim games are kiddie, but yet other media like movies aren't labeled as such. Heck alot of games now,  could be considered interactive movies.  Video games can be fun, no matter what age you are.

Not to mention the fact that alot of games are clearly intended for older individuals, hence number of M rated games.
