Ncaa Football 11 + Michigan

Submitted by Max Power on

Found some info on Ncaa 11. Talks about the new spread offense and read option. Which as anyone who plays as Michigan knows its hard to run anything except speed options out of the gun. The article also shows some screen shots that list new formations one of which is called "Wolverine Split". It shows the formationg with the player #'s and has Tate as the starter and the "star" on offense and Shaw in the backfield with him.

Hmmmm. Moundros is not the fullback anymore. We'll have to wait and see if Forcier and Shaw are starters. I think it's more likely that DRob and Smith start though.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it shows our starting line as

Omameh, Schilling, Molk, Barnum, Huyge?

and with Moundros as our FB

I do like being able to have Roundtree and Odoms on the field at the same time this season

I could not run the spread to save my life in that game, I always wound up using BC's Off. playbook.

I Also had a hard time with the 4-2-5 and 3-3-5 D, I played mostly nickel. Anyone else have these problems?

You're not alone. Anyone who says they were able to run out of the spread without using speed option every play is full of it. And defense is impossible to play without nickel and such because the coverages were so vanilla D Rob could have picked them apart in 6th grade.

i could run out of the spread just not in Michigans O..I use  floridas O quite a bit.  In the gator formation I could run all day.  Especially since you could flip Minor in at QB to run the wildcat.
