Ok after reading the numerous replies to my posts I'm not going to answer each one but will respond overall. Wow look at the hate LMFAO. I mean this guy who wrote the article is claiming a lot of money? What 4 grand total between 12 kids. Who is he fooling. Reggie Bush's engine was more than that. And im sure the rent free 750K home his folks were living in for 2 years was a tad bit more than this. Oh by the way how about his dad being TAPED talking about signing with an Agent. You talking heads dont understand that the reason USC and now OSU got hammered is becasue they tried to cover up the violations or obstruct the NCAA. Tressell flat out lied to the NCAA. And OSU players Tats and memorabilia were in excess of a 1000 dollar each which is why they got 5 game suspension. Stop believeing everything Yahoo puts in your head. Youwant to read a real article on this I suggest you read Jason Whitlocks article on Foxsports. He hates Miami but he even smelled @#$% in this matter. So boot me...lambaste me...throw blog feces at me but its just my humble opinion. I may use exclamation points alot...I may be married to a woman that bleeds for The U but come on open your minds to the fact that sometimes stuff is way overblown! Again I'm not saying they are finished with the university not by a long shot but it wont be doom and gloom. Besides just wait till its the SECs turn and THEN and ONLY THEN will you see how tainted those programs really are.

Whitlock's argument is that Robinson's reporting is irresponsible because it relies on a known liar and anonymous sources. First of all, this is not true, as pictoral evidence and financial records clearly show that Shapiro was very friendly with Miami players and gave many of them illegal benefits. Second of all, several former Miami football players confirmed that they took illegal benefits from Shapiro. And not all of them were anonymous.

Also, from the article:

You can’t disguise his poison with stats — 11 months, 100 hours of jailhouse interviews, 21 human sources, including nine former Miami football players, 1,000 pictures, 20,000 financial documents, 5,000 pages of cellphone records, a $1.6 million yacht, $80,000 in receipts at nightclubs, 72 players with possible NCAA violations and nearly 100 interviews.
The stats reveal Robinson's desperation.

Whitlock decided to dismiss all the corroborating evidence to Shapiro's allegations out of hand. So in Whitlock's world, the admissions of former Miami players count for nothing because...well, he never really gives a coherent explanation. So yeah...

For those interested, Charles Robinson responded to Whitlock.
