NCAA D1, ACHL Coaches Meeting this Week: Men's Hockey
At the Naples Golf Club Hotel this week until Sunday. Coaches, A.D. 's are having rules, scheduling events along with some suppliers. Open invites this weekend to catch up on next years events.

My connection sucks here at the beach sorry. I hear Red will be in town for the program. Spent time with the FCA Hockey assn. out of Brooklyn, Mn.
I'll try to gleen more info as the week goes on. Big Chill, Frozen Four, and new rules. Thanks for your forgiveness here. It's life for some of the equipment reps who make a living on this sport.

Allow me to try to make some sense of this (or make a bigger mess, whichever). In a nutshell:

The NCAA and ACHA hockey coaches, along with athletic directors, at least the vast majority of them, are in Naples, Florida this week for their annual meeting. For the purposes of this board, this year they will be discussing various issues pertinent to Michigan hockey, such as the Big Chill, Frozen Four, and other things.

Also important this year is that this is a rule change year (these happen every other year, as I understand it), so be aware that there may be some strange rule proposals on the horizon (such as taking away icing on the power play, which was proposed two years ago).
