NC LB Kris Frost and FL S Wayne Lyons to Announce Saturday

Submitted by DGDestroys on

It appears that, despite all of the coaching controversy, Kris Frost is set to announce his decision on Saturday. IMO, losing him would be bigger than Zettel and Hart combined, but that's just me. All signs point to Michigan. Would be a huge get for RR, or whomever is the coach come Saturday.

EDIT: FL S Wayne Lyons will also be announcing during the bowl. If Harbaugh comes in (Stanford's in his top 5), we could be sitting pretty for him.

beat me to the punch

hopefully some good news in the midst of this bad news. But it could be good news amidst good news by the time his commit comes, depending on what DB announces.

Can we reasonably expect a kid to commit to us in the midst of all this uncertainty?

It seems to me that if a guy is committing right now, he's not likely to commit to Michigan.

Although Frost seems to have been in our camp all along, it doesn't appear that Habaugh was recruiting him at Stanford. We'll see if that has anything to do with his ultimate decision.

If there is one thing we learned last year from Demar Dorsey national announcements are fun for the kids at the game, but binding by no means. Even if he does or doesn't choose M I will be watching his recruitment until his papers are signed.

DGDestroys-I think he was always planning on announcing at the Army game.  So, nothing has changed, right?  It's not like he, all of a sudden changed his mind and is announcing?  I think Lyons is announcing also

I have a good vibe we land both these kids and bring in the RB from Indiana that is committed to Stanford after JH is hired.   Let the good times roll, boys.

I've been reporting to you for awhile that both will make their commitments at the Army game, Kris hasn't ever swayed from that. Frost has been consistent on what he was looking at, and how everything was going to play out. He did tell me where he'll be choosing, and how it happened. Obviously can't tell you yet, but I'll let you in on everything after he announces.
