Calipari makes it all about him.  If they win it's because of what he did.  If they lose it's because of him.  No credit to the other team whatsoever

Does anyone really believe UConn is the best team in the country?  Sometimes I hate college basketball.

Michigan lost 6 games in the Big Ten in 1989.  I guess you don't call them National Champions?   Michigan had 6 losses in 2013 so I guess if they beat Lousiville you wouldn't have called them National Champions?

So how would you determine a national champion in college basketball?  The 1989 team finished 3rd in the Big 10.  If the Fab Five won the tournament would they have been the champs?  They never won the Big 10.  Last years team finished 4th in the Big 10.

Uconn was a preseason top 25 team and a 7 seed in the tournament.  They finished 3rd in their conference and 2 of their losses were to Louisville and one to Cinncinnati which was ranked #7 at the time.  Your arguments make no sense.  They are the Champs.

Yes, they won 6 games in a single elimination tournament that's an extremely shitty way to determine a champion in a sport with enormously high variability.  I'm not disputing that they in fact won it.  I'm saying it doesn't make them the best team in the country, and this is yet another reason why college football is vastly superior to college basketball.

Well I am a little sour.  I think it's BS that a team with a mediocre regular season and a record of academic achievement so poor that they couldn't even participate in last year's tournament wins a title. It's absurd.  And to win it, they beat a coach who has put every program he's been at on probation.  I'm sick of watching dirty programs win championships year after year.

Dunk during One Shining Moment actually made me pump my fist and cheer like it had just happened.

Someday, guys...someday.

The jackass known as Steven A Smith claims Kentucky blew it. Hard to blow it when you NEVER have the lead. I hate the media. MSU fans bitching they got shut out of OSM, did they?

Thing. Only MSU person that I saw was Izzo walking into the arena. a) ha, they made the G8 and didn't get anyone in and b) why the face? do they show him doing nothing. Every other coach was shown celebrating/ consoling with his players

that would be extra impressive. I think they already have a men's /women's NC double. Not really rooting for UConn but they play ND and I find it hard to root for them in anything.

picked UConn at the beginning of the tourney, I bought her a cool UConn shirt when she was 12 and she's like then since - mainly because of their mascot. Told her it was a crazy pick... should have put some money on her pick!
