EDIT: They said they are going to have a caller around 4:35 that is close to the situation that can explain what happened at msu.

I got the sense from listening to that interview that she does not want her son to attend Michigan State. Call it an intuition, but that was my impression.

might have a bit of a tendency to surround himself with kids of questionable judgment and/or moral character, the ONLY one of those 4 schools that doesn't routinely get in the news for athletes partying and other questionable activities is Michigan. I know we occassionally have our fair share of idiot players (Frank Clark, Will Hagerup, etc.), but just do a Google search for athletes in trouble with the law and see how many appear for each team over the past 5 or 10 years. I'm not trying to be homer, but if my kid were deciding on a four-year institution, there's a reason academic reputions and stereotypes exist...

The caller doesn't know what hes talking about at all, he on there reporting rumors. He hasn't even talked to Malik's parents. I wish Webb would say what happened but Webb has to much class.

Sam Webb said this morning that he doesn't see any good surprises this year like Norfleet. In fact that we should be rooting for no surprises this year because they would most likely be bad. Not that he sees any decomitts but that it would be more likely than a good surprise. I hope he is wrong but he is usualy pretty spot on.

And the only thing Michigan has going for it right now is that Malik's mom appears to hate MSU. Malik appears to want to go to MSU. We'll see what wins. I think it's MSU vs Out of State Schools

Malik is not going to MSU, theres no chance at this point. His mom does not want him in East Lansing, so Malik will be picking from the other 3. We know Malik wants to stay close to family and friends and we know his parents like Michigan. I really beleive he will sign with UofM tomorrow. If not Michigan it will be OSU.
