National Championship Uniformz
Lost in all the CC hoopla is probably the most Oregon thing ever as Nike just unveiled super special awesome kewl UNIFORMZ for the National Championship game because nothing says (possibly) winning your 1st National Championship like not wearing your school colors.

get out, unless you mean sick in that you contaminated those jerseys with some rare disease in which case please stay and enjoy a pat on the back

Despite being a Michigan fan I'm okay with admitting Ohio State's standard and alternate uniforms are pretty solid.
Damn internet. Sorry for triple post.

see what that got you?

OSU has classically nice uniforms. Nothing better than M / OSU on the field together.

I still want to see them do it with both teams in their home jerseys, blue vs. red, like they used to do it before black and white TV.

Couldn't agree more. USC and UCLA do it and it always looks great.

I hate the shiny metallic swoosh. Like it wasn't prominent enough already...

the nike swoosh and ralph polo polo dude are the only two clothing logos that have been brainwashed so deeply into my head that i genuinely enjoy the aesthetic.

One at a time? The whole bag at the same time? Does this bag look like a wrinkled, greasy cheesesteak bag with a bunch of them crammed into it or a nice panera bag with baguettes sticking out the top? These are all things we need to know.
Louis C.K. cracks me up. And this post just did too.

I actualy kind of liked Oregon's lime green uniforms against FSU in the Rose Bowl.

Oregon is the #2 seed. Why don't they get home unis?

#1, shouldn't Oregon be the home team? They're the high seed.
Loved the "apple green Uniforms" Oregon had in the Rose Bowl.
It's the national championship game, these pictures are going to be in your school's history FOREVER...shouldn't you wear your school colors?
I love the Oregon uniforms if those were their colors, but they're not. If the Oakland Raiders were the Oakland Ducks, those would be SWEET.
OSU's black numbers on the shoulder pads look awful. They don't match anything. It's not like they have black pants. It's just a random black number.
January 5th, 2015 at 10:57 PM ^
Too bad Oregon is not wearing 1968 replicas (pictured below) as well...
January 5th, 2015 at 10:31 PM ^
The black numbers on the shoulder are a nod to the 1968 championship team's uniforms.
January 5th, 2015 at 11:45 PM ^
Do that honorary shit some other time...50 year anniversaries and whatnot. Let this team win a NC (God, please no) in their own uniform.
January 6th, 2015 at 8:58 AM ^
Considering who they beat to win it, I would say Nike should have modeled the Oregon jerseys on thier 1939 basketball championship uniforms. They were the frist team to win the basketball tourney. If you wanted to honor someone, given this is the first year of the playoff, do it with Oregon given the historic similarities.
In regards to the OSU uniforms, they at least look like what they are based on. Sometimes their nods to the past are a bit hard to see. While you may hate the top line, the pictue cpation might make a few of you either happy or at least not hate it as much as you could.
But yes, part of me is laughing at Nike for counting their chickens before they hatched.
January 5th, 2015 at 9:50 PM ^
At this point, does Oregon even have "school colors"? Its really just a school logo, and everything else changes weekly...
Actually surprised they decided to pick a casual color to wear.

OSU should have kept their Pro Combats they have worn for big games in the past (2012 and 2013 vs us), I thought those Jerseys were a perfect example of sharpening up a traditional uniform, something Adidas has failed to do repeatedly with us.

The Sugar Bowl jersey's and the 2011 Northwestern game uniforms were really solid, IMO. There were problems getting the right fit on the ones at Northwestern, though.
January 5th, 2015 at 10:28 PM ^
The Sugar Bowl uniforms were great, probably the only ones I really enjoyed. I liked the blue pants vs Penn St this year, but was not a fan of the jerseys.
I can't seem to recall anything different about the 2011 Northwestern uniforms.
January 5th, 2015 at 11:06 PM ^
I'd be more than happy with these being the new permanent away uniforms.
