Who is being the whiney baby? We get lots of great recruits, and it doesn't matter if they commit in February or November, on TV or in Hoke's office. In fact, I like it when our recruits commit early because then they can help recruit other guys in their class. Leon McQuay wasn't repping USC at camps and combines all summer like our recruits were, was he?
Half our freaking recruiting class is playing in an All American game this weekend and we're the favorite for the top RB in the country. You're making a stand? You have no leg to stand on.

Agreed, it is confusing when comments get deleted. Instead of deletion, it would be better if inappropraite comments were replaced with something that says "previous comment deleted." Not sure how hard that would be, but it would make following things a lot easier.

This season it seems to be USC a little north of a million. It could happen, I guess, if the rumors are true, but I'm gonna wait until we start hearing from outlets and sources we do know.

For some added context here, Lane Kiffin mentioned that he wanted someone with no previous Southern California ties. A summary piece about Narduzzi in Reign Of Troy is here - (LINK).
Some of the other candidates that are / were supposedly being considered (this article is from the 29th of December, so who knows where the selection process is at now) include Gene Chizik, Kent Baer ( formerly at SJSU, who was going to Colorado as DC, I thought), Clancy Pendergast (former Cal DC), and Tosh Lupoi (Washington D-Line coach).

1.2? If thats true how the hell can USC look at an assistant salary like that but we cant find a top OC and pay them fuck you money like that? This isn't really pure hate on Borges, but thats a lot of cash and we look more then cheap by not doing so with all of our coaches!

I agree. I actually think it's a bigger risk for him to remain at MSU. Narduzzi's stock right now is about as high as it's going to get with MSU. I doubt he could seriously improve his prospects by staying at MSU, even if he continues to put good defenses on the field. But if he were to have a bad season or two, his opportunities could begin to diminish.
