When I saw that kickoff return I kind of perked up as I saw the blocks developing but wasn't sure whether to stand up as I'm so jaded from almost returning them for a TD.
Needless to say, when Chesson passed the closest man and it was apparent he was gone, I went crazy.
First kickoff return for a TD in 6 years. About fucking time.
First opening kickoff returned for a TD since Tyrone Wheatley, Sr returned it against Houston in 1992.

It was about damn time. It looked so close to his long TD on the sweep. And after hearing Peppers told Chesson they'd probably kick away from him so follow his block, you know this team is fully bought in and I can't wait for next week.

It seems like a chant of "DEFENSE" is only ever used get a defense going to make a stop. I don't think I've ever heard one that was an entire stadium just praising the defense.

Love the Michigan sideline going absolutely nuts during Chesson's kickoff return.
And the defense chant was epic in person. The video doesn't even give it justice.
