I know this blog has had a complicated relationship with Deadspin and Dashiell Bennett, but as someone who's been around here long enough to remember the oversigning fiasco, I thought this was worth sharing. I think of Alabama as the prime example of "win and all the bad goes away."

In the fall of 1865, shortly after the Civil War ended, University of Alabama reopened its doors for students, only 1 showed up and classes had to be cancelled.
