Music City Bowl & Sun Bowl & Liberty Bowl Open Thread

Because, well, it's on. Edit: yeah, we don't need another thread cluttering the board for that. They overlap anyway. Maybe a new one for Chick-fil-A tonight.

...if Tech wins it'll be their first bowl victory since...hell, the previous century, I suspect.  I live in the Atlanta area and as stoked as I was about the triple option returning to a local market, the Tech fanbase is ready to send Coach Paul Johnson outta here in a hurry.  Beating an historic program like USC (yes, THAT USC) in a bowl game isn't going to help their cause at all.

Of course, they're still paying off the remainder of Paul Hewitt's b-ball contract after prematurely extending him for getting them to the final against UConn in 2004...so Coach Johnson isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Sure, Carroll was kinda toolish, always inviting celebrities to practice, etc., but I don't think the culture as a whole was what it appears to be now.  Kiffin exudes entitlement, petulance, and a complete lack of class -- and his team is doing their best "monkey see, monkey do."

So not only is Kiffin a huge douche but also a horrible coach. How does he keep getting jobs? He's never done anything. Reminds me of a whiny, petulant child.

No one is allowed to say "but Michigan could never beat USC..." I wish I had taken those Rose Bowl trips to play this USC team.

...it is art.  Look at Tech's last drive, man...started on their own 1-yard line, just under 6 and a half minutes to play.  They moved the ball to USC territory, eating up better than four freaking minutes before committing that penalty on 4th and 2.  Now SoCal has the ball inside their own 20 needing two scores.  With less than 2 minutes to play.
