Music City Bowl & Sun Bowl & Liberty Bowl Open Thread

Because, well, it's on. Edit: yeah, we don't need another thread cluttering the board for that. They overlap anyway. Maybe a new one for Chick-fil-A tonight.

After an interception is returned 55 yards the Vandy coach verbally assails one of his defensive players for not blocking enough on the return, which wouldn't have helped because the returner got caught from behind.

I love Coach Hoke every time I see a coach act like an idiot.

Vanderbilt bragging to recruits they have the highest graduation rate for football/basketball athletes in the SEC is like bragging your city is safer than Detroit.

Lemonnier (sp? Ouch!) BiG crew already fing up the sun bowl. Dude and his crews are always horrible. What is wrong with the BiG officiating the last few years, they are embarrassing.

Do Wolfpack fans watch Mike Glennon scramble and think, "Oh, god, this could be it...." ? Trying to get away from linebackers is plainly not his strength. Also, this is now the  fifth game this season in which NC State has committed four or more turnovers, but at least they managed to jump on the most recent "butterfingers moment" and not make it six in this game alone.

My brother-in-law is a Wolfpack alum...I will have to call him after this game...

USC not looking so hot today, sluggish and inconsistent. GATech looks athletic and playing hard.

Showing up 30 minutes late for a random dinner and 2 players calling el paso a crappy city(many of us would do the same) makes them jerks?

Also I like how that article casts the overpaid and parasitic bowl execs as hardworking and virtuous event organizers who were unjustly shunned by the big bad unpaid college football players

It wasn't random, it was a scheduled event. The other team made it. It was disrespectful to them to not show. And if I say on here that El Paso sucks, it's not hardly the same thing as someone bing hosted by a city (and given a lot of free stuff) saying it sucks. Next time you going over someone's place for dinner show up an hour late then tweet thir house sucks. See how that goes over.

But GT and the city had the last laugh. Sportscenter wasn't running features last night on how El Paso's season imploded. Or how GT was the worst preseason #1 of all time.

And USC is going to give it right back.

I'm just more amazed Georgia Tech isn't as awful as they've been all season.

Maybe the PAC-12 just isn't very good?

Probably 7-7 at the half, with some spectacularly awful football from both sides. Good times with the consolation bowls.

Teams that lose their conference championship games have been getting whupped on lately in their bowl games, haven't they? Nebraska, GT...

I wouldn't mind Michigan playing in the Sun Bowl someday. That stadium looks beautiful with the mountains around it.

It's also the 2nd oldest bowl (1934) so it's got quite a history.
