Go Vanderbilt I guess?
December 31st, 2012 at 12:24 PM ^
NC state. Sec must lose every bowl game.
December 31st, 2012 at 1:18 PM ^
I like and root for vandy for some reason..
December 31st, 2012 at 1:36 PM ^
No. SEC bad.
December 31st, 2012 at 4:52 PM ^
Vandy is like a B1G school stuck in the south though. They are the antithesis of everything that is SEC
December 31st, 2012 at 1:04 PM ^
Good luck today for all who are doing Bowl Mania in the MGoBlog group. Looks like we have a MGoBlogger who is in the 99.9 percentile of the country (although that goes by just points won)

Wow top 20, woohooo!
December 31st, 2012 at 1:47 PM ^
So I'm waiting for the 2nd half TD and safety for NC State to cover.
December 31st, 2012 at 2:03 PM ^
Yelling at that linemen for the return man running into HIM? Seems like a major tool to me, be happy with the int fergodsakes.
December 31st, 2012 at 2:03 PM ^
I hope Leon McQuay III and family is watching Vandy's coach lose his shit over every little thing right now.
December 31st, 2012 at 2:06 PM ^
After an interception is returned 55 yards the Vandy coach verbally assails one of his defensive players for not blocking enough on the return, which wouldn't have helped because the returner got caught from behind.
I love Coach Hoke every time I see a coach act like an idiot.
December 31st, 2012 at 2:11 PM ^
I see nothing wrong with a coach yelling at a player for a mistake or lack of effort.
December 31st, 2012 at 2:22 PM ^
There's a difference between deliberately chewing out a player and reacting like a child throwing a tantrum over every little thing because you don't have any control over your emotions.
December 31st, 2012 at 2:36 PM ^
This.
December 31st, 2012 at 5:10 PM ^
Most of the kids on this board never saw Bo coach. We live in a softer generation. Let's talk about feelings and emotions.
December 31st, 2012 at 2:21 PM ^
Vanderbilt bragging to recruits they have the highest graduation rate for football/basketball athletes in the SEC is like bragging your city is safer than Detroit.
December 31st, 2012 at 2:22 PM ^
this is all I have to offer
December 31st, 2012 at 2:38 PM ^
Just called a clearly missed FG good. It was overturned. Unreal.
December 31st, 2012 at 2:39 PM ^
Lemonnier (sp? Ouch!) BiG crew already fing up the sun bowl. Dude and his crews are always horrible. What is wrong with the BiG officiating the last few years, they are embarrassing.
December 31st, 2012 at 2:45 PM ^
They were standing right below the posts, so I can see how they would miss that call
/s obviously.
December 31st, 2012 at 2:40 PM ^
Do Wolfpack fans watch Mike Glennon scramble and think, "Oh, god, this could be it...." ? Trying to get away from linebackers is plainly not his strength. Also, this is now the fifth game this season in which NC State has committed four or more turnovers, but at least they managed to jump on the most recent "butterfingers moment" and not make it six in this game alone.
My brother-in-law is a Wolfpack alum...I will have to call him after this game...
December 31st, 2012 at 2:44 PM ^
How do you blow that field goal call? Pathetic. Thank god for replay.
December 31st, 2012 at 3:05 PM ^
At least it wasn't UPHELD on review like that plainly missed XP from Syracuse-Toledo last year. What a gift. Bastards.
December 31st, 2012 at 3:13 PM ^
Boise State smartly says "F YOU" to the Big East and decides to stay in the Mountain West.
SDSU really should do the same.
December 31st, 2012 at 3:14 PM ^
USC not looking so hot today, sluggish and inconsistent. GATech looks athletic and playing hard.
December 31st, 2012 at 3:16 PM ^
Lane Kiffin does not have his team ready to play at all.
December 31st, 2012 at 5:44 PM ^
Thinks they're too good to be playing there. Sounds like they've been complete jerks about being at the Sun Bowl. Classy moves, Lane.

January 1st, 2013 at 10:30 AM ^
Showing up 30 minutes late for a random dinner and 2 players calling el paso a crappy city(many of us would do the same) makes them jerks?
Also I like how that article casts the overpaid and parasitic bowl execs as hardworking and virtuous event organizers who were unjustly shunned by the big bad unpaid college football players
January 1st, 2013 at 12:53 PM ^
It wasn't random, it was a scheduled event. The other team made it. It was disrespectful to them to not show. And if I say on here that El Paso sucks, it's not hardly the same thing as someone bing hosted by a city (and given a lot of free stuff) saying it sucks. Next time you going over someone's place for dinner show up an hour late then tweet thir house sucks. See how that goes over.
But GT and the city had the last laugh. Sportscenter wasn't running features last night on how El Paso's season imploded. Or how GT was the worst preseason #1 of all time.
December 31st, 2012 at 3:26 PM ^
USC INT returned to the 35 of GT.
December 31st, 2012 at 3:28 PM ^
To the 50.
December 31st, 2012 at 3:27 PM ^
And USC is going to give it right back.
I'm just more amazed Georgia Tech isn't as awful as they've been all season.
Maybe the PAC-12 just isn't very good?
December 31st, 2012 at 4:56 PM ^
UCLA got bombed by Baylor. Stanford is playing an unranked team (BIG TEHHHHNNN) so will never impress me. OTOH if they hadn't crapped on our two best teams early this season, I would feel a better about criticizing them.
December 31st, 2012 at 3:28 PM ^
USC returns the gift!
December 31st, 2012 at 3:31 PM ^
Another turnover!?
December 31st, 2012 at 3:32 PM ^
This is some fine football here.
December 31st, 2012 at 3:31 PM ^
USC will never win anything of significance with douchebag Lane Kiffin as their head coach.
December 31st, 2012 at 3:44 PM ^
Probably 7-7 at the half, with some spectacularly awful football from both sides. Good times with the consolation bowls.
Teams that lose their conference championship games have been getting whupped on lately in their bowl games, haven't they? Nebraska, GT...
December 31st, 2012 at 4:26 PM ^
World explode?
Central Florida did pretty well. Got till Jan. 6 to see how Kent State does.
December 31st, 2012 at 3:45 PM ^
Good golly is Lane Kiffin a giant sack of dongs.
December 31st, 2012 at 3:53 PM ^
I wouldn't mind Michigan playing in the Sun Bowl someday. That stadium looks beautiful with the mountains around it.
It's also the 2nd oldest bowl (1934) so it's got quite a history.
December 31st, 2012 at 4:29 PM ^
El Paso is a beautiful area and the mountains behind the stadium create quite the view, but I'll pass on Michigan playing in a third-tier bowl game, no matter how historic.
December 31st, 2012 at 4:20 PM ^
GT punt return down to the 1, punches it in 2 plays later, up 14-7. There is hope.
December 31st, 2012 at 4:27 PM ^
How many more decommits does USC get after today.
December 31st, 2012 at 4:31 PM ^
Is it just me or does Kiffin looks even douchier with the jacket hood on?
December 31st, 2012 at 4:46 PM ^
Is this game on Hoth or in El Paso?
December 31st, 2012 at 4:47 PM ^
A tackle of Silas Redd is a tackle for America.
December 31st, 2012 at 4:48 PM ^
Is Al Borges calling this game for USC?
December 31st, 2012 at 4:52 PM ^
A lot of OCs look crummy when the other team is getting penetration the way GT is doing, or the way other teams got penetration against Michigan's interior OL.
December 31st, 2012 at 4:54 PM ^
Well, I think that makes it 3-12 on 3rd downs for USC today. Kiffin is channeling his inner Greg Davis today, I would think.
