MSU at Wisconsin - MBB

Should go down to the wire. Great battle between Payne and Hayes. They are letting them smack each other around. 6 minutes left, Wisky up by 6.

I think this game showed again how good MSU is going to be when they are fully healthy and playing as a unit.

There is no way they should have been in this game, but they were right there at the end.  Harris had the worst game of his career, yet they were a back rim half court shot away from winning again on the road.

Michigan can beat them in AA, but they are going to have to play their A game that day.

All in all, We needed this to maintain a share of the lead, time to beat the Buckeyes and head into the two game gauntlet at home with some momentum.

Michigan State was 24-60 and 5-19 from beyond the arc, which is good for an effective FG% of 44.17%. Wisconsin, on the same metric, went 19-42 and 9-23 from three point land, which translates to an effective FG% of 55.95%.

Michigan State did do much better at the boards though - their 26.31% offensive rebound percentage outshines a somewhat anemic 12.00% on the same measure from Wisconsin.

Both teams had A/T ratios below 1.00 - 0.818 for Michigan State and 0.714 for Wisconsin, so not a good game for ball handling.

He's really one of the more overrated players in America, and he was awful. I'm glad you're bashing an MSU guy and not one of our own at least.

and then all he does is whine like a spoiled little girl about his team's injuries. Hoke should take a hint from D'Antonio to say guys suspended are an " internal matter "(and leave it at that) and Izzo should learn from Beilein to live in the moment and STFU about injuries.
