Supposedly, upper level 50 yard line seats were going for 6 dollars this morning.

If I didn't have plans, I would be there rooting for green in my maize. We need the help.
Go Blue!
I will be rooting for Nebraska to lose, not moo u to win. moo u is irrelevent. No one cares about them. Not even the students and alumni. Their stadium can only hold 80K, this is almost half of ours and we will up the Big House every single "cotton pick'n saturday" as the Ufer would say.
I'd rather have a burrito than watch an offensive atrocity in the cold. That said, go Sparty.
Whatcha gonna do, little brother?
Why should we care? Are we that infatuated with MSU that we need to know the ticket prices of their games?
I just find it interesting. MSU has a prety big fanbase, and this is their first home game against Nebraska as a big ten member.
Nebrasksa fans generally travel in large numbers to away games, so imagine where prices would be without that demand. I expect the Husker crowd to be quite noisy in the sparty double-wide stadium
I am in the military, and live in Omaha. Many of the Husker fans made the trip to LA for the UCLA game, as well as the Northwestern game a few weeks ago. I know they travel well, but from all the rumblings I have heard, I wouldn't expect an overwhelming crowd like we saw at NW in Chicago a few weeks ago.
As an American and a consumer, I welcome information of this nature, that helps me decide how to spend my money. Because, you know, I could watch the MSU-Nebraska game live. Or I could eat a burrito. It's a difficult decision. Because there's football. But its Michigan State football. And then, there's a burrito.
Life throws some tough choices at you sometimes.
This is home...
as well as the confirmation that they have the worst fanbase in the conference as it pertains to being fair weather. Sparty is a synonym for irrelevancy. Also, there is a large Hispanic population in the state if Michigan, so the market rate for a good burrito is always of interest.
Is there really? I haven't noticed it. FTR, I live in Oakland County. Is there a specific area they tend to be concentrated in? You always hear about the border states and then NYC/Chicago.
to change the city name to "Hollandez"
Biz hundert azoi ve tsvantsik
Huge population over here on the west side of the state, and the food is tremendous.
There are some Hispanic communities in West Michigan, but I wouldn't call them "huge." Statewide they are 4% of the population (compared to 16% nationwide).
BTB, Chicken burrito with green salsa. Exactly $6. That, or sit out in the cold watching two fat kids have a pillow fight. Hmmm.
If it were an actual pillowfight between two actual fat kids. I'd totally pay 6 bucks to see that. Given that it's a metaphor for MSU football though, I'll take the burrito.
Come to think of it though, StraightDave still owes me a steak dinner, so I can save my money and still watch the metaphorical pillowfight.

There's gonna be lots of Nebraska fans in the stands I think. That said, go state (I will not induce vomiting).
According to Colbert the Market has spoken.
No one cares about Staee.
So a Staee grad would have to deliver, like, 3 pizzas to be able to gain admission?
"It would be a travesty, it would be ridiculous to all of a sudden come back and get the feeling back, get the health back, feel good again and then all of a sudden go throw some other colors on my shirt and go coach."
Wow there are a lot of cheap tickets available. Nebraska is known for traveling well, it might end up being a pro-Nebraska crowd.
The Michigan Difference. Oh yea, it is real.
We beat them. Can't we stop obsessing now?
Call Mr. Plow, that's my name, that name again is Mr. Plow
our chances to win the conference depends on them...so it's in our interest for them to have a couple fans at the game
My guess is there's a tremendous collective let-down in Sparty-land this year. Coming off last year, even with Cousins gone, the expectations were high. Losing to ND, OSU, Michigan and (for good measure) Iowa has taken all the wind out of their sails.
In a way, Michigan's loss to Nebraska last week did something similar, though not quite to the same degree. Alabama and ND could have been looked past, but losing to Nebraska and putting them in the driver's seat for the division hurt. The season is not over, and of course we're all looking forward to OSU ... but I think it's safe to say the enthusiasm would be a whole lot higher had we beat Nebraska last week.
Just human nature ... dealing with unmet expectations is not always a joy ride.
Midwestern born and raised ... now living in the heat of the Arizona desert
The season is over... For Sparty. Their fanbase is actually rooting for them to lose so that Michigan will not win the Legends division. I've never seen anything like it in my life. Pathetic morons.
we just need Nebraska to lose a game or even, 2. There are other games left on their schedule besides @MSU. Now a loss by Nebraska tomorrow would be nice, but Michigan's whole season does NOT depend on it. I wouldn't be unhappy with a Spartan victory, but then again, I wouldn't be too upset to see Nebraska pile it on either. A very mediocre season for Sparty would be a welcome thing around here.
.
They could possibly lose to Penn State, but I think MSU has a much better chance.
It is pretty unlikely for them to lose to Minnesota or Iowa.
But on the other hand, last year you could have gotten two tickets for the price of one and a five dollar footlong from Subway...let's not worry about the fact that was for a bad out of conference game...
The real question is will there be more people at the CMU-WMU game then the MSU- Nebraska. Answer= No.
One of these looks great from afar, definitely worth your time and investment, especially if you are drunk. Yet, once you actually experience it first hand, it falls apart while making a mess, and leaves you feeling sick to your stomach and proclaiming that you'll never do THAT again.
And then there's the burrito.
Burrito > shits I get eating from eating burrito > state game
When the ADept sells special jerseys and gear, you'll see my picture next to the targeted customer crowd. A sheep.....but a Blue one.....
That place is pretty much a non drive through taco bell.
Hail! to the Victors Valiant Hail!
is way, way more than $6. Kind of approachinmg $10 territory, but hey, gotta save the carbs for tortilla chips & yeah, I would rather spend $10, eat my bowl & chips and then sleep > going to a game @ MSU!
"They're stuck with that quarterback (sophomore Braxton Miller) for the next two or three years, that's fine with me. He throws worse than (Tim) Tebow. - Steve Everitt
Could the shootings on I-96 have an effect ???
I had a Qdoba steak queso for lunch today. No way in hell sparty tickets are worth that. Wait, then again, with a coke it was almost twice what the tickets cost, so nevermind. Totally unfair comparison.
I'll still take the burrito.
Touchdown Manningham! MICHIGAN WINS!
