Rather be on BA

This team has the talent to beat anyone, but clearly they are lacking all sorts of other things.  I can see us losing in the first round to a 14 or 15 seed or making it to the final four.  This is extremely frustrating.

I absolutely HATE how, in general, I feel like both the football and basketball teams have been straight up out-worked and out-energied by our rivals for the last 5+ years.  To me that is 100x more infuriating than losing due to talent.

No matter how good your team can shoot, they will be off a few games a year.  If they cannot play defense or get to the basket and the foul line, they will not win those games.

If you play defense you never get blown out.  See MSU's losses.  You will have horrid offense games a few times a year.  Thats part of the game.  Lack of effort and heart is not.  If this happened to Izzo's team MSU would not have a basketball in the gym for the next week during practice.

Sweet 16 is where this team will go. We play great against average teams, but don't have the offensive sets or rebounding to beat good to great teams.

This is much worse than the first half. I'm done with this game and will resume mgofollowing tomorrow. I hope to read in the morning that I missed the most epic of comebacks... (but am not planning on it).

I don't pay as much attention to basketball as I do football. Not by a long shot. But does anyone know if part of the problem is just that we have zero leadership in the team? It seemed like even though Douglass and Novak weren't the most talented guys in the court, they were great leaders and kept the team focused.

It really seemed like this team thought it was so good through the first part of the year that it could just out-talent everyone like Kentucky did last year. And now they just have a deer in headlights look every time they step onto the court in a big game.

Look, if you are honest with yourself, we are the fifth best team in the B10!  Hardway is good for 30 minutes against every other good B10 team.  GR3, is a good true freshman who lost his mogo, Blouses is a solid freshman who every once in while can be lights out.  Horford and Morgan have virtually no offense.    We check out Sweek 16!!!!

Complete lack of effort.  They are not representing Michigan well tonight.  Even Burke with 16 is playing immature.  That charge on Appling was sad.  Why can't this coaching staff get these guys motivated?
