MSU Releases Individual Tickets for Tomorrow On Sale NOW $75

Submitted by Michael Scarn on

MSU just released some tickets for $75/piece.  I got 3 together at the 20 yard line at 7:37pm, so if you were considering going to help the ratio, go do it!

LINK , pretty simple to order, just click the Michigan link.

I don't really know anything about the logistics of ticket sales. Does this mean that MSU was unable to sell out a home game against an undefeated UM team or is it standard procedure to hold some tickets in reserve for sale this late?

I've bought tickets on gameday in East Lansing more than a couple times.  They are always easy to come by.  I went to the '97 game.  MSU was 5-1 and Michigan was 6-0, of course.  We bought four tickets five minutes before kickoff right outside the gate from a guy who had a stack of probably two dozen tickets.  I don't remember if we paid less than face value or not, but we didn't pay more.

If anyone snags an extra, Dylan from umhoops.com tweeted earlier that he is looking for a ticket.  No idea if he found one yet, but I bet he'd be appreciative.

Section 30. I went 2 years ago so I'm looking forward to a little payback. Lets hope this one ends better!

To the OP: THANK YOU for posting this! It's by far the cheapest and most reliable way to buy tickets right now.

You obviously haven't heard of sunk cost ... just because you paid double face value doesn't mean that's what you'll sell them for.  I've been looking for tickets, and the price is dropping fast.  Cheapest tickets a week ago were $200, and tonight you can get non-student tickets for $125 (or $75 if you are lucky enough to get them on the site a couple hours ago).

Well, I guess that solves the problem for me.  I'm going up to Central to do pictures of Eastern.  This would have been kind of cool but I would have had to leave at about 2 or so although East Lansing isn't that far from Mt. Pleasant.

MSU made a formal statement that this game would of been sold out against Michigan, but they were not able to sell tickets at their usual national level. The sex appeal of the mid-west just isn't enough for sparty.

ridiculous things I've ever seen.  A top-25 match-up at a supposedly "elite" level program?  They will never be elite, and this proves it.  Even with a few strong seasons, this is actually absurd.  To have tickets available the night before for such a matchup...they just aren't ready for the big leagues, win or lose.

I couldn't find any takers for my extra ticket and ended up selling it to a reluctant scalper for about $20.

No one sat in the seat next to me so I can only assume it didn't get sold.

When we had season tickets to Sparty it was near impossible to even GIVE the stupid things away, and we had good seats.  It was nice to have a guaranteed ticket for UM every two years but we gave them up last year.
