god how i hate that fight song. It was my high school's fight song and after 4 years of hearing that crap, i'm glad i can finally hear a real fight song.

I moved down here to Tx in 1980 from Ann Arbor. When I got to HS I learned the fight song was none other than "The Victors." Our cross town rivals was the ND song... just in case the rival wasn't big enough. The end.

My elementary school song was a take of 'On Wisconsin', my middle school was green & white and the fight song was a take off of OSU's 'Across the Field', and my high school just had this awful original fight song that no one knew and everyone agreed sucked.
Thank God I went to UofM and learned to appreciate a REAL marching band, and not the goofy looking militant wing of the Salvation Army I see down here in OH-IO

Same general thought, my elementary school's fight song was based on Notre Dame. I didn't realize how infuriating that was until I got to college. Of course, everyone in the school changed it to something involving boogers and nerds and other wonderful grade school humor.
