Their mood swings are worse than this board's.... which is hard to believe, sometimes....

Before this season, I know many Sparties who legitimately thought they were going to go anywhere from 10-2 to 12-0...

Anything less than 10-2 was blasphemy

Just today I threw my diploma away, quit my job, threw water at my circuit breaker, shaved my head, kicked my dog in the mouth, crawled into a corner in the basement, and am now somehow able to share my thoughts with you all despite no electricity, no router, no modem, no internet, no cable, no confidence, no reason for waking up tomorrow morning or even living.

My university let me down by playing young guys without a lot of experience on the offensive side of the ball and not enough OL depth when two guys go down.

Somebody curb me.

I'm goin' all Syd Barrett with the only difference that I never wrote anything like Piper or for that matter any did anything worthwhile for anyone.  No one will idolize my garden-variety, banal downfall.  I'm a smudge of excrement flowing out to sea, and also a derivative commenter - two layers of plagiarism (Miles and Bukowski).

Yes - I'd drag your fanbase down.  Like that disgusting front row OSU fan with all his amorphous fat.

You're just what we want. With M doing much better, we don't have anyone to quote depressing lyrics from the Smiths and claim that all light has gone out of the world. How can we see the light when we don't have anybody around touching themselves masochistically until darkness comes oozing?

Go ’way from my window

Leave at your own chosen speed

I’m not the one you want, babe

I’m not the one you need

You say you’re lookin’ for someone

Never strong but always weak

To be indifferent to your needs

Whether you are right or wrong

Someone to close each and every door

But it ain’t me, babe

No, no, no, it ain’t me, babe

It ain’t me you’re lookin’ for, babe

They're surprised at the results when they lose their best QB in school history and All-Time leading receiver. You can only coach up so many 2 and 3 Stars.

yea i literally just looked over there for the first time in years to check some hilarious threads..

The guy who posted that just made an account and posted that so it is most likely a troll..

Their forum gives you a headache... My IQ dropped about 50 pts from reading some of the threads..

The "hoke'd" thread is the biggest joke..  They have several players on the list that graduated or ran out of eligibility listed as players who have jumped ship from our program lol..

Dunno. I dont think its that far fetched that a guy could grow up an M fan, get accepted by state but not M, then happen to be there during their only 2 decent seasons in decades.

Far fetched?????  Where do you think the fire for the Wolverine hatred, stems from?  Its from all of them who applied to Michigan but didn't get in... .or those who knew they had no chance to get in, and didn't do so.

To illustrate this very salient point..... a high school buddy grew up a Spartan fan having siblings who went there... but he was a half-decent student and applied to Michigan and wanted to go there..... and during the waiting acceptance period, he was quite anxious, and tells me.... "Can you imagine how much more I will hate Michigan if I don't get in?"    And thankfully, in the end, he was rejected.   This is a true story.

That example right there should make you reconsider the far-fetchedness.

Yea, that thread isn't good schaadenfreude. Just a possible troll and/or a douchebag who turned traitor against the maize and blue after receiving his rejection letter from Michigan and being forced to settle for MSU.

I've always been able to gauge excitement for MSU football based on the number of MSU clothing items I see out and about.  I can say with confidence its been at an all-time high the last 3 or 4 years.   However this year i've seen a noticeable downward trend in the number of Spartan regalia and there was hardly a peep about homecoming weekend, which is usually quite festive for the MSU grads I know.  I'm sure the awful weather played some part, it rained all morning and most of Saturday afternoon.   Even Sparties have their limits on party time conditions.

There's always a hidden in the woodwork kind of element with some of their fans who only sport the green and white when good things happen.  Its been fairly quiet around here most of this season since the ND game.

I'm not sensing much confidence from the local scene and that was before yesterday's results.  We'll see what the week brings but I'm sure most Sparties are banking on them playing their only great football game of the year this weekend.  But there does seem to be a cloud of impending doom hanging around here.  Like they know their time is over and it will never be better than what it was.

Thats Nucky. Nucky is a Michigan fan that has been trolling RCMB for years, despite being IP banned multiple times and keeps making up new usernames by changing his IP via VPN. It's actually pretty entertaining since he's so easy to spot now.

That thread isn't that good, but there are some good ones right now on that site.  I just don't know how a team who tells us we're arrogant can get so arrogant preseason and think it's a forgone conclusion that they will go to the Rose Bowl and beat us for the 5th straight year.
