Is MSU the best team in the Big Ten?

Submitted by M-Wolverine on
They beat up Wisconsin, who's handling OSU right now. They beat us by more at our place than Iowa did. And beat Illinois by more than OSU. And didn't slip up out of conference. I thought earlier today Dantonio might be put in a spot where if Iowa beat them, and OSU beat Iowa, they'd need us to beat OSU to get a share of the B10 title and go to the Rose Bowl...and see how Dantonio squirmed over that. But now, beat Iowa, and they could go undefeated. And with everyone losing...does that get them in the National Title hunt?? A long way to go...but man, we're running out of undefeated teams. We really needed to beat them last week...

I don't know if they are the best team but their coach is better than ours!  Neg away and it will be funny how all you ass kissers change your tune once Harbaugh is our coach.

He has clearly been trying to get this job.  Before the Oregon game he spoke about a conversation he had with Bo about how Bo asked him if he ran an offense with a full back and a tight end.  He was clearly taking a shot a Rich Rod.  He also likes to go for two even after he has destroyed a team.  Think he might be doing that to get some notice from the Michigan nation?  He would take this job in a second.

How is it a good thing that Harbaugh wants to rub a big lead in someone's face?  I get much more satisfaction in straight-up beating somebody than I do rubbing my superiority in their face.  Going for 2 when up big is an ass move.

Whoa the almighty point.  Do you realize how pathetic it is to have a ton of points?  You must be on the computer all the time.  No way you every played college football and actually know what your talking about.  Its time to start listening to the posters with negative points, they are the only ones without dicks rod up their ass.

Just shut up. I listened to all of the irrational fans all game I don't need to hear you complain even more. Rich Rod didn't miss tackles or throw picks. Thats the players. A coach can only do so much. Now shut up and go away.

I was unaware that coaches around the country teach kids to miss tackles and throw picks. Thanks for pointing that out. A coach can only do so much. The rest is up the guys on the field. Unfortunately at this point those guys are 2-3 years younger than just about all the guys they are going up against. Until you realize this you are never going to be happy no matter who is coaching. Coaches don't teach experience.

I am very educated which actually means nothing in this case.  I played college football and I actually know what the hell I'm talking about.  These kids are busting their asses but they are not being put in a position to succeed.  I am sorry but if you know about football you could not say they are well coached.  It pains me greatly to admit this but it is the honest truth.  Be careful with all these blind following homers on this blog.  It is clear that very few of them have spent any time near a football field.  Playing video game football does not count!

The guy was there on the corner trying to wash the window of my car with a really dirty rag. I rolled down the window and negged him at the light. I'm sure he's going to use them to buy alcohol, drugs, or smokes, but at least my conscience is clear.

Dantonio is a good coach, but the media has hyped him to the point where it helps with recruiting.  From the announcers at the MSU game today: "Dantonio is known as the Dean of Discipline, which is quite ironic since his teams lead the BigTen in penalites" - he could also say in plea bargains.

Eh... I'm not really that concerned.  They're a good team, but I don't think they're good enough not to slip up somewhere before the end of the season.

they could lose at NU next week. They were down 6-3 against Illinois at half today. But yeah, my greatest fear is Dantonio pulling an Izzo.

They will lose a game or two this season, just like everyone else in the Big 10.  They might still win the Big 10 by record, but I still think OSU, Iowa, and maybe even Wiscy (at least at home) are better.

Either them, Iowa or Purdue.    The numbers are the numbers.   Michigan State being successful has very little to do with what is going on at Michigan except for 1 game a year anyways. So look at their hot start in a positive light.   Couldn't be more proud of the growth taking place with Little Bro.
