I'm sure Fred Jackson usually praises his players, but you could not give more positive feedback than that. Superlatives. This is exciting to read. Thanks.

No comparisons to Michigan legends (or sci-fi hybrids of multiple former greats), NFL Hall of Famers, or comic book super heroes.

These guys must really suck.

I once met Coach Jackson, and after speaking with him for five minutes, he told me I was like Aristotle but a much better orator, and then he said he didn't have time for my simple talk! IF a running back isn't Jesus, but better at water walking, we're in trouble.

Love Coach Jackson SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much. Best thing ever to happen to M football.

This praise wasn't nearly over the top enough to meet the Jacksonian Standard.

But maybe there's hope because of a regime change? Perhaps Hoke has weighed in on a new era for coach speak?

That said, I doubt it. The Jackson Standard existed even during Carr.

Fullback John McColgan won't be among the best who has ever played at Michigan, but he's been good.
Coming from Jackson, this is downright vicious.

I found it funny when he said, "I don't know what was taught to these kids in high school." I would've thought he'd know a lot about the coaching Rawls got in high school, since his coach was Fred Jackson Jr.
