So, what are you up to for Mother's Day?
I'm up a bit early to get set up for our usual multi-generation, dotted-line Mother's Day.
"Dotted line" refers to our unusually "branchy" family tree, which, on Mother's Day, includes my ex sister-in-law and a family friend who is like an aunt to my kids.
Our small group includes my parents, Mrs. 1989 UM Grad, my kids, and the above-mentioned folks.
We took the easy way out this year and ordered a deli tray, which is usually a crowd pleaser.
Gifting isn't usually a must for either of us on hoidays and birthdays, but Mrs. 1989 UM Grad did receive a certificate for a shopping trip to one of her favorite stores.
Oh, and this is our first Mother's Day with our new MGoKittens. Since all good MGoPosts include kitten pictures, here they are. LSAClassof2000 can feel free to use the picture in future spreadsheet-laden posts.
