OK, lets play UofM trivia. Here are a couple of easy questions that tend to trip up some fans. Without looking it up...
Who were the starting tailback and the punter on the 1997 championship team?
Which actor from a current CBS show had a dad who was a michigan captain?

is clearly Mark Harmon. Don't know the show, but his dad was Ol' 98.
He stars in NCIS.
played football at UCLA.
was Anthony Thomas ... as a Freshman.
A Train didn't start.
I like it. Was it Chris Howard?
Howard #8
Yes, Chris Howard seems to be the most easilly forgotten michigan RB ever.
I will never forget Chris Howard, he is quite possibly the only most accomplish Michigan Running Back of all time.
Can you think of any other Michigan RB that can claim to be married to Gabrielle Union.
Starting backfield were RB Mr Gabrielle Union - Chris Howard (#8) and FB Chris Floyd (#7).
A damn good Mr. Irrelevant, too - not to be confused with Jumbo.
Played with a broken jaw. Gotta love linemen.
IIRC, Jason Vinson punted in 1997.
Correct. I volunteered at a kids program with him and he told me that he wasn't even the starting punter in H.S. He said he tried out for the team, got the starting job over a schollie punter and only then told Lloyd that he didn't punt in H.S. Lloyd told him if he know that he wouldn't have even let him try out.
In 1997 a Michigan PK booted the longest field goal of his college career. Name the kicker and the length.
Hint: current NFL PK.
I'm assuming the length was the low 50s, because I don't think we've ever had anything too much longer outside of when Epstein was here.
EDIT: Lol, and that's what I get for not reading down the page before replying.
Tailback - Chris Howard
Punter - last name Vinson, I think. Not sure of first name.
Actor - Mark Harmon
Center - No idea. David Brandt?
Jay Feely
51 yards vs Baylor
Correct
Safe bet that he is the only M kicker to ever be the subject of a SNL skit. For all the wrong reasons, but still kind of cool.
