Nah, I don't think you should take it down. I'm sure some people haven't seen it yet. I've only seen it over at Rivals. I guess it's up to Rivals to get it removed if it's copyright infringement on Youtube's part.

I liked the video, I don't have a Rivals subscription either, and I'm jonesing for some football.

I really liked the breakdown drill with the safeties. Learning how to tackle in space is a really hard skill to learn.

I'd have liked Robinson to catch that pass from Forcier. Based on a sample of one, he'll have a tough time if he needs to transition to receiver.

Stephen Hopkins ran directly toward the camera... and I flinched.

Beyond that... Roh looked big, and Gardner's delivery looked pretty good.

you see Leach then Demens, then Roh just looks like a beast. Fitz also looks quick, probably the player I'm most interested in seeing this fall with Turner coming in a close second.

Yeah, Stephen Hopkins might be pretty damn big, but Toussaint looks like a fucking bulldozer for his height. I've been excited to see that kid play for two years now.

A Justin Turner sighting!
Jeremy and Kelvin are pretty quick...
Who was throwing the passes to the receivers!? Hopefully not Tate and Denard
Tate has that accuracy he showed last year.
Martavious Odums is now a grizzled veteran.
Kevin Leach looks like he put on some size.
Those sleds the "O" line was pushing around are cool.

Thanks for posting that!

This video got me really excited for the Spring Game. I've been waiting to see Fitz in action since he committed to Michigan. I think he would have end up having the starting job last year if it wasn't for that injury. Fitz is the real deal.

I like how Coach Dews ran with the receivers.

The music was a nice addition, and the video showed some players I had been curious to see in action.

Fitz is officially -- to borrow another users term -- a power tank ninja.

Thanks for posting.

I have a question for the football drill experts:

Around the 54 seconds in, the dbs are doing what seems like a tackling drill. Why do they do an upward motion after grabbing the bag?

It's supposed to simulate exploding up and through the ballcarrier. Rather than just reaching out and hugging the bag (or the ballcarrier), it's a constant reminder that tacklers should violently explode the ballcarrier.

I use it with my linebackers, and it seems to help a bit. Even when we're working against air, for example, when I blow the whistle or yell "hit", they're suppposed to simulate the explosion.

Michigan has always looked good at practice per what has been said by coaches/witnesses the last couple of years and we know how the season turned out. Maybe it's time for them to practice crappy. Maybe that will make them play well when it counts. Just a thought...

looked crisp on his throws, and his shoulders look a lot sturdier than the 5-6 pounds that he officially gained would indicate. I'm excited to see him get back on the field this season.
