More positive Najee News from San Antonio.

He is the Anti-Diva and has been tight-lipped about his intentions. 10 of 12 "Sources" have him as bound for Ann Arbor. This is monumental to state things simple and plain. Chuck Filiaga has looked great and is 6ft6 and 335 pounds and most importantly....tracking to be ready from a technical standpoint as soon as next season. Also hearing from other outlets that Mekhi Becton, 6ft7 300 pound VA tackle is looking like a strong possibility to land in Ann Arbor. He's a top 200 player. All great news for Wolverines.

This made me laugh. My moms sister died this past weekendand the funeral is Friday. Tuesday we were out buying the flowers and my wife asked me what I would like on and around my casket. I told her I wanted nothing but carniverous plants.

Neg me to oblivion for my pessimism, but I'm more than anxious over the fact that he has never actually decommitted from Alabama.  This brings back memories of Bri'onte Dunn.

To add to this:

If he hates the attention, wouldn't it makes sense to come out and say he is going to Alabama. I'm sure that would significantly decrease the attention he has been getting. I think it is pretty telling and gives more weight behind the optimism from the Michigan side.

He could both 1) not like talking to reporters and 2) see the hype value of creating mystery and just showing up somewhere. The young man should do whatever he wants with his recruitment. I'm hopeful and optimistic he goes blue but not giving access to reporters doesn't necessarily mean the things this board seems to assume it does.

No need to neg.

It's the perfect cover if he's going to Bama -- he's already verbally committed.  And if he changed his mind and is coming to Michigan, he is insulated with hope from Wolverine fans and the verbal commit from Bama fans.

For this young man, it is perfect.  Obviosuly, no one knows what he's going to do but I like our chances.

But with Wilson heading to Athens and our glaring need on the line, he's likely to be a priority and a top 200 kid we can absolutely land. He has an ideal frame for tackle and has shown some aggression in camp 1v1s https://youtu.be/6rkpl4s1ty0

All of these little bits and pieces seem to add up to Harris coming to Ann Arbor.  Otherwise, he probably would have just said he is sticking with his Bama committment and that would be the end of it.

FWIW, Becton's composite rank is in the low 300s.  Rivals is the only one that is big on him.  Not that there's a ton of reliability once you get out of the two 200 or so.  His offer sheet is pretty good, if legit.
