Thats a great article. Rosenberg should feel like a total piece of crap for dragging kids like that into his personal attack on RR. I love how RR handled it with Stokes and also how the Stokes family is coming out and defending what Je'Ron said.

I didn't think that anything could make me more infuriated, but after reading that story, and literally having tears start to well up in my eyes, I cannot believe how anyone could do something so despicable as harmfully misquote an 18 year old. I am shocked.

Je'Ron is a special player. I'm really excited about having him and Ricardo for the next four years. In case you were wondering, Bryce McNeal is redshirting this year at Clemson. Didn't impress and is very fragile. (Not to say he won't be great in a few years, just sayin)

the passion that Mr. Stokes has for the program and the staff by reading that article. Also, it sounds like Je'Ron has really been going the extra mile to accomplish his goals for the next few years and beyond. What a great family, its a shame that those morons at that paper had too drag their son into this.

yea. the people who say 'he had to report it' and 'he was just being a journalist' have to realize just how much a journalist can engineer a story. we are told he interviewed, what, 10 players? or does he even know. where did the interviewees come from? random out of a hat? targeted? why stop at 10? of the 6, you can bet most of them are ex-wolverines, who's anonymity is essential to protect only their credibility. and of the rest, stories like this really should put the burden on the accuser (not that it will). unfortunately, i think its impossible that our self investigation comes up empty. we have to report something (improper coach attendance, improper attendance keeping, etc) so we look sincere. and when we do that, rosenberg will look validated. which pisses me off, because writing a hit piece like this should get his ass fired.

are full of BS. His first responsibility, before unleashing a piece on the world, is to research the topic thoroughly. Once researched, it is his responsibility to provide an unbiased and objective picture of the facts. If the end result isn't sexy enough to sell papers than the story should be thrown out, not twisted and totally disregard given for what the facts really are so the story will sell. If I want an accurate view of what a person is like would I go to their ex-girlfriend or ex-bestfriend to find out? Would I approach someone that knows them but beat around the bush without actually asking what I want to know.....Hell no, I would go to someone I knew had the facts and ask them point blank WTF the deal is with this person. What these clowns did was beyond a disgrace and they should be ashamed. They should also never be allowed to write again IME.

I love how the parents of many of these kids are coming to RichRod's defense. I don't think we've seen one yet come out and say "Finally, someone said it! He's working my baby boy to death!"

Mr. Stokes was on WTKA this morning. He was fantastic! One thing I loved that he said is that rival coaches are scared of Rich Rodriguez. He said that he encountered a lot of negative recruiting, but he decided to find out for himself, and he and his wife love RR and the coaching staff.
