Damefan is going to be priceless this week.

I consider Irish a sane ND fan (hopefully still after tonight) but Damefan is pretty much an assclown.

Irish created a congrats thread and earned a lot of respect. He shouldn't be included.
September 11th, 2011 at 7:53 AM ^
Agreed Irish is a complete class act and a huge asset to this board. I love when he posts, he gives a different side to our perspectives.

To be fair he has slipped up from time to time. Nice to hear he's taking it in stride

"To be fair he's slipped up from time to time..."
Seriously? I mean he's a level-headed fan of a rival team that is just as passionate about his team as we are ours. This is sports - what do you expect of him, to be Ghandi and never say anything controversial? And where does anyone get off judging him?

Maybe we should ask jamiemac to put up odds on whether damefan even bothers to post about the game. I will be very impressed if he does. If I was him, I would consider taking a vacation before and after the Michigan game every year. At least he didn't make any outlandish predictions this year.
I'm guessing he doesn't show up until they pummel Sparty next week. This, of course, almost guarantees that he will post about it today or tomorrow.

Roundtree caught that pass. And Irish was legit tonight, he posted earlier.
September 11th, 2011 at 2:48 AM ^
ND fans will spend more time and interest hoping Michigan loses than hoping ND wins. Book it.
September 11th, 2011 at 8:23 AM ^
That's Sparty. ND fans have built a fandom on immediately shifting attention to the next game.

Try Irishenvy.com. Almost feel bad for them

The guy is a craft brewer now, too? Fergodsakes, what can't he do?

Tremendous Trippel Ale
Pointer Porter
Never Wear Red Ale
The possibilities are endless...

That site is just sad. I feel for some of the ND fans, but most are complete, idiot, assholes. One said this team is more UNdisciplined than any of the Weis teams, including Yakety sax. That is just hilarious

NDNation was pretty fun to skim. This was my favorite: (NSFH) http://www.ndnation.com/boards/showpost.php?b=football;pid=233156;d=all

Wow, total trash.
September 11th, 2011 at 9:10 AM ^
Is her cat named Denard? That was about the filthiest thread I have ever seen.
September 11th, 2011 at 4:39 AM ^
fun read. lots of threads bashing their #4. Another guy admiting that god is NOT a ND fan. My favorite might be the 62 year old guy saying he can't take the embarrassment anymore.
September 11th, 2011 at 9:49 AM ^
Realizing that God is not an ND fan is probably the single biggest letdown of an ND fan's life, even in front of watching one's son get accepted by Notre Dame only to choose Boston College instead.
September 11th, 2011 at 9:04 AM ^
NDNation already has a review of the game and some pretty nice meltdowns going on. It's entertaining.
September 11th, 2011 at 9:33 AM ^
someone on there last night suggested they get a med school then join the ivy league.
September 11th, 2011 at 9:56 AM ^
....and then Harvard beats them on the final possession.
September 11th, 2011 at 9:36 AM ^
that MSU has beaten ND 13 of the last 15 meetings... BWahahahahahhahaha!!! The despair over there is palatable. The majority of fans there have given up on Rees and Kelly. And Gary Gray is lucky he doesn't live in columbus, those rednecks would have death threats filling his mailbox. ND fans are just encouraging gray to give up on life...because that's more catholic.
September 12th, 2011 at 10:12 AM ^
msu has won 10 of the last 15. But right before that nd had won 8 in a row. This game falls into the "Who Cares" category for me.
Go Blue!

...when your delusions are shattered.
i almost feel bad for them...almost.

"Irish are like the Cubs. You know they’re going to lose, you just don’t know how."
September 11th, 2011 at 11:24 AM ^
They're up and posting again this morning, and they're talking about sweatervest. Oh please, please, let them fire kelly next year and hire tressel, and then have the NCAA slap a show cause on him, and then they have to fire tressel and the whole hilarious carnival starts over again!

My favorite was the guy who came out of his bathroom where he had been crying and freed some of the fish in his aquarium out into a creek to be replaced by a badass fish like a bass or something. That was just crazy.
