More ESPN love -- Coaching "Fit" at Michigan
Latest article by Maisel. Pretty decent, I guess. I'm sure Rodriguez is going to take crap among the second-guessers for kind of equating Michigan to West Virginia and Glenville State.
Before anyone unleashes, I get what he is saying.

yea, i think some of those " (mythical)michigan man" devotees will carp on that quote saying "see, he doesn't get it, he thinks were all the same". i hope they are mostly dead by now, but we'll find out. in the meantime, he's right if you know how to build a winner you know how to build a winner- he's just moved to a bigger stage and higher level each time. let's just hope he doesn't want to go to the next stage and level- pro- and he stays to win for many years.

I really don't think RR has much chance to go to the NFL. The GMs are not very friendly to his kind of offense.

RR isn't going anywhere for a while. And, most NFL's teams probably don't want a guy who basically will have an awful year 1 while he get's his system in place.

Good article. I really do believe that the word "fit" is another word for winning. If you win, everyone loves you and will overlook a lot of your shortcomings, if you lose, then its the opposite.
Lets hope RR can fit in at Michigan for many years to come. I'll take that type of fitting any day of the week.

Hope people don't neglect that word in his comments.
"The foundation isn't any different than anywhere else. It's recruiting the right guys and helping them make the grade. Every school is unique. But the foundation for building a championship program is no different here than West Virginia or Glenville State."
He's right.
Michigan has several added advantages when that foundation is in place. Happy to see that we are on our way.
As exciting as things are now, I can't wait to see what we look like in two years, with proper depth, talent, and experience in the system.

"Winning is the size that fits all." I think Maisel has just gone onto my "daily read" list.
