He's: smart; is confident but not cocky; constantly trying to make himself better; respects the veterans; keeps his word; and is just a really good player
Have we ever collectively followed a former Michigan player's NFL training camp exploits more closely? Not complaining since I love BG and the Eagles. I just think its pretty sick to see how pumped everyone is to see BG destroy the NFL.
I know this is definitely the most I've ever followed a former Michigan's player's camp. I remember I tried following Chris Perry pretty closely when he entered the NFL but not anything like this. Being that BG is one of my favorite Michigan players ever and he went to the Eagles makes it 100 times better. I know it's early but I've been telling everyone in Philly that the city is going to love him as much as we all loved Brian Dawkins. That's how confident I am he's going to be a star player and continue to be just a great dude in general.
But I was following Henne and Long in their rookie year.
Generally I always start my NFL fandom tracking the Lions, then when that proves depressing I switch to the teams with the most Michigan Alumni.
It will all fade a little once Sept 4 gets here.
